Any chance MLS will decide to suspend him this week?

Hope so. And for however long DK gets suspended, I hope the referee and the linesman get double.

You know what they say...IF YOU CAN'T BEAT 'EM, BREAK THEIR LEGS :)

Don't know how many have seen the replay, but it doesn't look like it is on purpose, because it is O'Brien's RIGHT leg and for him to have broken that leg, it would have to have been on the follow thru or when he planted because DK was side by side and came in from the left side of O'Brien

Their legion of overly opinionated fans demand that dc be #1 in something...

I watched the match and it didn't look to me to be the least bit intentional. It's a physical game and these things can happen. Chalk this one up to bad luck.

Yeah the bad luck to be tackled by
    DemaToma Kovalenko.

I believe this makes the 2nd leg he's broken in MLS. Didn't he break Pollard's leg/foot in a Fire-Burn playoff match awhile back?

    Yes.

Opposing players have a bad habit of ending up seriously injured around Dema Kovalenko.

Unless DC starts winning some games, Ray Hudson might become the 3rd victim of a broken leg.....this time at the hands of the United fans!!!

Even by Hudson's standards, he sounded out of control after Saturday's game:

"We're not looking for favors, we're not looking for handouts, but we're looking for fairness," Hudson said. The U.S. Soccer Federation, which oversees officiating in this country, "better start waking up."

Later, in an expletive-filled close to his news conference, he added, "Quaranta gets butchered -- butchered! -- in that . . . box, and we don't get a . . . call."

"Butchered"? What about that poor college kid who was savagely attacked by Stoitchkov in a freakin exhibition? He was an up-and-coming star who will never be the same. I wish his anger was the same back then.

Winless in 4 games, despite all of the changes, which included the addition of Earnie Stewart. They're desperate for a win. Look for more "butcher tactics" this weekend...a Mike Petke headbutt perhaps???

Funny - I don't remember Quaranta being stretchered off with a broken leg.

The O'Brien incident wasn't intentional. Drop it.

Hristo should have been sent to Guantanamo Bay to be with the rest of the animals.

Did he mean to break his leg? No.......Did he go in to take him out? absolutely......I'm not saying it was right or wrong but, he went in to drop O'Brien, not clear the ball...he knew he was beat and had to stop the play.

Whether he meant to do it or not, Dema is - and always will be - a dirty bastard.

Do not disagree with Riverplate. He watches Argentine and Mexican Futbol on cable and stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

His knowledge of the beautiful game is infinitely more than your pitiful gringo futbol intellect can handle.

What blows my mind is that no card was given on the tackle. Not even a caution! I was surprised when it wasn't mentioned on the highlights show and then checked MLSNET to se if they just forgot to mention it.

the ref was apparently a first-time mls official and was truly horrible. he lost control of the game within 10 minutes and never got it back. cheap cards for dissent and then he lets all kinds of crazy tackles go, pull downs go, etc. he let 4 or 5 physical altercations occur, etc. it wasn't well called--i actually remember him beginning to reach for his pocket but i think in all the action attending to hurt guy, the ref actually forgot!

The League can still fine Demon Kovastinko even if he didn't get a card. I doubt that he will get a suspension.
