Perhaps he thinks there is another Namoff on the team whose name is pronounced differently that is the regular on defense.

Well, a bit of a surprise. Here's the actual ballot:

    Perkins
    Fred
    Burch
    Moreno

However, when you try to vote, it says "Sorry, this poll is closed." HAH! They can't ever get this thing right.

Goff said they were all one IP. The poster was obviously trolling.

How did MLS allow Toronto to install that surface?

I can't remember if it was the graphic or the announcers that were wrong, but FSC also mixed up Dunivant and Brennan on a yellow card.

+1. What a ridiculous piece of crap. I had to laugh when Bretos referred to it as "grass."

Good to win, even though we were crap a lot of the match. Our defending was mostly good at least, and that's what is going to keep us winning I think. Even with the referee blatantly favoring Dichio Vanney and McT did a pretty good job, and Namoff/Burch were mostly awesome...and of course Perkins was superb and fully deserved his MOTM.

I second that Robinson should have been sent off for the obviously intentional knee to Gomez's head. That was a straight red and the referee did nothing at all from about 10 feet away. Then he intentionally kicks Jaime from behind in what more often than not would be straight red again in another match. I hate these bastard Canadian referees for Toronto only as they seem to favor the home team quite generously.

Can't agree more. We're fortunate nothing he did decided the result. But he was grossly inconsistent, mostly in poor form, and in general a complete f'up.

And the "surface" is a piece of shit. I can't stand watching games on that disaster of a field.

Glad it's over and we got 3 pts.

    The End.

    Somebody please merge me...

That may be, and if so, it's STILL horrible officiating. That guy SUCKED.

And to top it off, the FSC crew were happy with him.

WTF world do we live in anyway?

Neither do we. But it won't happen next year.

Why does Toronto use field-turf anyway? It's not that far north, is it?

The City of Toronto owns BMO Field. It was their decision to put in Field Turf, as they want the facility to be in use year-round and will be placing a bubble placed over it after the season ends.

    Bubble = no grass

They had to install FieldTurf at BMO to use a bubble in the winter for youth and local leagues. I've heard that TFC is looking at building a new training center elsewhere, which would incorporate a bubble, so they would be clear to switch to grass at BMO.

That said, the surface at BMO is the highest-grade FieldTurf made specifically for soccer, and is easily 20x better than the fields in the Swamp, Gillette, and RSL.

Oh, and RFK will have a brand new field rolled out after the Nats wrap up their last home games. So nobody will be able to whine about baselines and the pitchers mound from October through MLS Cup into next year.

Seriously, what kind of a dope would start two identical post game threads?

Lay off the turf issue fellas, it ain't that bad. In fact, it's pretty much high quality and didn't really affect anything outside of a few heavy touches on passes. This isn't the Giants Stadium or Rice-Eccles pieces of crap, this is the good stuff just like up in Foxborough.

3 points, take it and move on.

    3 points baby!

They should send the Toronto players back to prison where they belong and get some players who have the common goal of trying to score goals rather than beating up the opposing team. What a bunch of THUGS!

    Exactly.

You get a slightly higher bounce, but compare it to the Swamp, Gillette or (ugh) Rice-Eccles . . . it's not a horrible surface. Any of those other places and it looks like you're playing ping pong out there.

I don't think the foul count adequately reflects such things as the kick to the head of Gomez near the end (was that Robinson?).
