They haven't won an MLS game in about 6 weeks and now lose at home to the last place team in the west. THis league is wide open. All the teams are basically the same in this league because of the salary cap and draft. Almost anyone can win the cup this year.

yeah what's up with that French jersey. My one soccer buddy from college went to this game from Western PA to D.C. I didn't go because I was partying and figured it would be like another tight 1-0 D.C. United win. 7 goals. That's crazy. So is Edson Buddle getting a hat trick. 24,000 plus. That's a real nice crowd.
Donnovan was getting quite a ribbing from the fans last night. A rather amusing banner hanging up read: GAME TIX: $100 PLANE TIX: $1000 DONOVAN IN GERMANY: WORTHLESS I think this picture is after he scored one of his goals, and was raising his arms up welcoming the jeers of the united fans.
Man, MLS is just its own worst enemy. Once again, another compelling game with a great atmosphere, and no TV. Not even any highlights on MLSnet. Pathetic.
Yup just as always the league is wide open. No news there. DC has such a big lead, I think they're gonna experiment and rest some players. No Christian Gomez in the lineup is like LA without Landon. This game is just a wake-up call, not a reason to panic for DC fans. Once in a while Landon shows us that he really is a good player. He just needs to do it more often.
Donovan needs to do this some more. Shove the critics' words right down their throats. Too often he just seems to take it and make excuses.

You know you're good when the whole league celebrates your loss. DCU is like the frickin Yankees. Okay, it's time for Donnet to make his appearance and put a spark to this team. Oh, and it would help if Freddie Adu and Christian Gomez weren't sidelined with injuries. I betcha the Galaxy don't win the MLS Cup and I betcha DC does.

I think that's the Official DC United "Best Team of All Time" Trophy that Landon just walked all over... shame, damn shame really.
We'll see you again in teh playoffs on our way to our FIFTH title...oh wait LA isn't getting into playoffs.
