I got the the hall pass to go out to the game since I watched Benjamin all day but opted to stay home. He's asleep now.

At least dinner was good and the Nats are entertaining me.

    Come on United!!!!!

Me either. I don't even get network out here without cable and I can't afford it.

analysis? on an American soccer broadcast? ;)

    perish the thought.

what will we unwashed, hard-to-entertain viewers do without Brandi's sideline interviews?

today, during the Crew/Fire match, i learned:

Jon Busch has a 32 inch vertical leap...
Eddie Gaven is a Mets fan...
Frankie Hejduk drinks 7 or 8 cups of coffee a day (actually, that's on every ESPN broadcaster's "cheat sheet," so i knew that one already)
Chad Barrett is a big fan of Wayne Rooney...

think i prefer my man, Tony and his mostly unbiased analysis...:D

Chad Barrett is also doing everything to look like Rooney. Too bad for the Nats he doesn't have his talent.

He is disappearing for long periods of time, and then is dangerous on the few plays he's had, but he tries too hard to make something happen on every play.

Actually it wasn't listed at all this week till this morning. The page however had the wrong dates all week (listed all the games as 4/16 except for the CDUSA vs LAG game which was listed as 4/18). So when they updated that today they put the video link up as well. But whoever updated the main page for some reason thought there was video as well; must not have read the subscription page. Lazy bastards.

Edit: Course as soon as I call them lazy bastards they put the link up.

well it sounds like the team is holding its shape so Nowak won't have to make the dreaded half-time substitution

only took them an entire half.

They expect people to pay for this kind of service?

Peter said he's pretty happy with the first half play, but he thought we let off too much after the goal.

I suspect (hope) that the service will be better when people are paying. Today's game was, after all, just a courtesy.
