Was Easter postponed due to Covid-19 this year?

 

I want to see more of Flores and less of Kamara (I know, they don't play the same position). Let's have two forwards again. Let's try defending set pieces.

 

The only hope DCU has is that Philly does some squad rotation due to fixture congestion. (Our squad rotation doesn't matter because we suck generally.) Apparently Philly is thin at DM and Ilsinho is dinged up. Given the problems Philly faces, I predict the standard 3-1 defeat. Interesting stat: Philly has scored 30 goals this year, DCU has allowed 30. Irresistible force meets wall of marshmallows.

 

Unless Philly plays their U-17 team, it will probably be 4-0 Philly, at least.

 

No lineup yet, but Goff reports no Hamid tonight. Non-Covid illness.

 

Interesting lineup. Kamara, Flores, Paredes all starting, Gressel and Rivas to the bench, no Moreno at all.

More Flores, same amount of Kamara, no Moreno. I think I like this one

 

I was walking around the home and had a slight panic when I realized it was 7:30. I remembered that there was a game tonight and that it's a home game, but I couldn't remember if it was 7 or 8. I turned to channel 8 and saw Steve Bannon. ******** Sinclair. ******** United.

 

Through 35 minutes, Asad has looked very good in the middle of the pitch. Flores definitely seems rusty and off his game.

 

Well, that was a fairly forgettable half of soccer, which is a definite improvement.

 

Asad looks better. Kamara looks the same, Fisher set him up on a platter and he whiffed. It Takes More.

 

Forgettable perhaps, but it was the best half I've seen from United in a long time. I do wish Kamara could finish, though.

 

Best half since he came back to DCU.

I like the fight in Paredes. Fisher looks good tackling and on the ball. Sorga has shown me more than Kamara who looks lost out there.

 

Gressel for Flores

Flores is stuffing a lot of ice down his pants.

 

Gressel for Flores. I"m guessing his fitness isn't all the way back yet, and I can't imagine playing with that face guard on.
