For those interested, first year Flower City Union plays in the 13,000 seat downtown soccer specific stadium built for the Rochester Rhinos in 2006. Rhinos disbanded after 2017 and have rebranded as Rochester NY FC this year and play at a college campus that seats 1,500. You can't make this stuff up.
- Should this be called the Hedy Lamar Cup Game? - No, it's Hedley! Date: 4/19/22 Time: 7:30pm TV: ESPN+ Location: Rochester Flower City stadium (formally the Marina Auto Stadium) Hmm, going by logos it seems more apt that this should be the team for the Rose Room Collective... Lineups not posted yet. How many youngsters play? Does/should Taxi play? Maybe some of other DPs get some minutes? Other thoughts? and not being streamed on DCU.bom...
Bummer, I was hoping for dcu.com Oh well, since they got rid of the matchday twitter acct, guess I'll hope someone posts updates here or just read all about it later. GO United! In the before times, I would be bellying up to a bar somewhere in/around Rochester right now getting ready to head over to the stadium. Or leaning against my car in the parking lot with a cocktail.....

Our opponents conceded 9 goals and is currently winless in their regular season. Even if we trot our homegrown players, this will be a piece of cake.
Got Callum Williams (MUFC) and Jaime Watson (NSC) on the call. Could have been a lot worse. Windy, rainy and cold.
12’ corner that Flores took, Estrada managed to head back to the 18, it gets put back in to Estrada, who bungles an open wide shot into the keeper.
Flores just took a free kick that was...very not impressive. I just don't get it. It's one thing to not be a good fit, but time after time he just looks flat out pedestrian out there, and yet I've seen flashes of real ability.
