I was watching some EPL games yesterday on Fox Sports World when I saw their "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" promotion of soccer worldwide. What first caught my attention was a shot of Dema that flashed on the screen while they were mentioning, wait for it.... 'The Good' A nasty tackle by Ben was flashed during chat about... 'The Bad' There was also a couple of shots of DC United fans bouncing in the stands. It was too quick for me to identify if they were SE or BB, but it was a sideline shot and not behind the goal. There also was a shot of Gomez, I think, kissing the MLS Cup trophy. The promo spot was kind of grainy and showed soccer highlights from around the world. I thought it was very nice that they highlighted at least four (that I saw after I started paying attention) shots of DC United and their fans. Wish I had paid the monthly TIVO fees so I could have rewound the promo and made a copy. Did anyone else see this?
I thought that was Galin Ivanov with the ugly tackle. Then again, there are two DCU clips in that promo, and both of them are categorized under "The Bad". I think they have a pro-Galaxy bias out there. Screw them anyway.
