I'm having trouble getting this organized. I took over the duties from someone else at a late date, and it's been a bitch getting through to my ticket rep at the Galaxy. Here's the deal: Call Gil Gamboa at the Galaxy: 310-630-2200 Mention my name (Benjamin Levine) and "sitting together in a DC United section." He should be able to take care of things. I'm not sure where he's gonna put us, but he'll do his best to seat us together at a reasonable price in a decent section. Let me know how it goes. I'll call him again in a day or two to follow up.
I'm sorry I didn't see this thread earlier. I already purchased 3 tickets for this game since I will be out in Cali. Bringing 2 1st timers to the game so I hope DC will put on a good show.
I called the guy but he never returned my call so we just went ahead and purchased our tickets separately. Hopefully we'll run into each other before or during the game. See you there!

James - I just arranged for the section. I'm calling myself tomorrow to confirm about the seat. (I was waiting to see if anyone else was going with me.) Liz is in section 131. I'll probably see if I can't get tickets there. We can always move around once we're inside.

ill be there making my yearly appearance at a galaxy game to see dc. i dont know where my seats are. but if you see a girl with a convey jersey theres a good chance that its me.
So, I'll try Gil Gamboa tomorrow to get a ticket. I'd rather combine with other DCU fans in a single section, so i'm not sure how many folks are going to be in 131 vs the section that Gamboa is putting folks in.
I think just Liz is in section 131. When I talk to Gil tomorrow I'll go with whatever section has more people. And, as I said, we can always shift around a bit once we're there. 131 might be a tough section to get more than one or two tickets in. A lot of season ticket holders are there. Plus I think it's over-priced - like many things at HDC.
Yeah just liz and i are sitting in 131, unless the ticket rep can place everyone in there. and the prices aren't that bad there, our tickets are priced for $45.
Also - are we going to wear white or black. Selfish question as I want to sport my new DC Away kit, but also because the team is on the road, won't they wear white as well? james
Apparently Gil got called out of town on a family emergency. He should be back this afternoon. James - I believe I have a credit with the Galaxy right now. I'd like to zero that out. If you want to go in with me then PM me soon with your full name (so you can pick them up at will call) and the number of tickets you need. DC United usually wears BLACK in LA.
I don't know if anyone saw it, but American Soccer on Gol TV showed our section from the Chivas opener. I still have it DVR'ed and re-watched it yesterday. james Black it is....
I just got a call from Gil. The tickets are all set and he's trying to get in contact with everyone. Apparently we're seated with some of the player families. If you don't hear from Gil soon then please try to contact him again. He's there today and he's trying hard to get back to everyone. Unfortunately, he was called out of town unexpectedly over the weekend.
