https://www.dcunited.com/2010-mls-superdraft-bus Going to be a great day! Can't wait! I will be in Philly by 10 am!
They are taking seats at 1:30pm - we need to start the march from the pub before 1:30! I do not like the timeline the Union has laid out in its site!
That ballroom is going to be a powder keg... Also, it's funny that they think they're leaving the draft at 5 and getting back to DC by 7

Yeah, especially when you throw in cameras on a national broadcast. No surprise if D.C. shows up in force and reps well. I guess NY, too (blech). But there's just no way it's going to be a fair fight. Not in our back yard.
Hmm, sponsored by Hitler's Car Company, vee vill give you free propaganda in red. Why red? no reason.
The old one was worse. And count me in the camp of those who think we need to get in sooner rather than later. Most of the fun in Baltimore a couple of years ago happened before we went in. I was down there a week ago and it was hard to believe it's been two years since that.
Should we leave the bar at 12:30-12:45 and get there at 1pm? That's a whole hour of nothing until the draft, but if others get there early, I guess we should as well.
But if we drink enough at the bar we will probably be able to entertain ourselves for an hour with songs and chants... At the name announcement it felt like we were in the square forever but we were signing and chanting and having a great time. And even with a free bus ride are they even going to get more then 10 fans to come?
The last time that there was a draft in Philadelphia I was there and there were about forty or so people from DC United and they were pretty boisterous and humorous.
I am all for getting to the convention center earlier if there is a possible worse case scenario that we show up at 1:30 and DC fans and every other team fan takes up all of the seats and therefore we are locked out of the party. Basically my question to those in the know is will we have seats reserved for us or is it truly first come first served? If that is the case then we should beat the rush and go early.
they also think that it will take them 2 hours to get from RFK to Philly, leaving at 10 am. though, they do have an extra 1.5 hours of "free time for lunch" on that side for "fluff".
I like the idea of getting there early, say 12:30 or so. Even if we have to wait, I'd rather wait and get in than get there right on 1:30 and get shut out. Besides... I can bring board games. ...kidding?
Hey I bought that for you as a gift for my post-sex-change party. Don't go using it for drunken twister!
