I watched the tape after the match and noticed a few things.

    1) Wollie and JP aren't too bad together.

    2) Wollie on Convey's miss in the second half: "Keep right on going into the locker room." Great line!

    3) Lorrie Fair rambled on a little bit with the in-game sideline commentary, but did a good job getting info out of the coaches.

    4) It used to be that the in-game highlights would take up the full screen, and the network promos would take up half the screen. Now its reversed, with network promos filling up the whole screen. GET THE NRA PRESIDENT OFF THE DAMN SCREEN AND LET US WATCH THE GAME! AACK! The Power Shots highlight package is now 1/2 screen, and sponsored like everything else in MLS.

    5) Did the game look or sound different on a digital feed? It sounded like the stadium sounds were "clipped," as if any loud sounds were being muted. You couldn't hear La Norte very well, either, as if it was cut off if it hit a certain decibel level.

    6) Good job by Wollie bringing up the "Nicole" reference.

    7) Good job by JP and Wollie in bringing the Adu expectations down a little bit, and not to expect the world of this kid in Matchday 1.

    8) Good job in pointing out how few touches Donovan had.

    9) Good job in pointing out the non-application of the Advantage rule (which, of course, is well-discussed elsewhere).

    10) Can't we have more MLS matches on Saturdays like ABC did with the NASL????? (which may yet happen if the NHL goes on a protracted strike)
