I'll definately be there...i'll have to meet everyone in DC though as I will be in Jersey that week watching my Phillies ground into double plays with runners in scoring position.

Brook, nothing would warm my heart more than to bust out the retro. Unfortunately, my disposable income is tied up in cabinetry, landscaping, and finished basements this summer. I'll be fortunate to make a Crew game much less a road trip to see the Crew in DC. Ah, homeownership.

Try the Arlington, VA area... according to my memory - there's a Holiday Inn near the Ballston Metro station - but if you're going to come by I'd put more emphasis on visiting Summer's Grill & Sports Bar- also in Arlington www.summers-restaurant.com - its a perfect soccer bar - I mean it has a freakin' soccer ball on its logo. (and no the logo doesn't have baseballs, hockey sticks, or pointy footballs - just a soccer ball) Its 1 block away from the Clarendon Metro station so even with beer goggles you'll be able to wobble your way into the Orange Line heading for RFK.... i'd say book your hotel in relations to 1)Summers and/or 2)The Metro ("that's DC speak" for The Subway)

I love that movie... I always laugh at the following line from Yolonda where she's crying and says "I gotta pee"... it's a little touches like that, that makes this movie even better.
