Subbing the 3rd stringer on for his debut for a PK shootout is an insane Lesesne gamble.

They're all mentally and physically exhausted.

Have these teams ever practiced penalties??? Some of the worst ive ever seen. But the 3rd string keeper blocks 4?? Just nuts

Wow. That was really, really frustrating but ultimately fun. Probably wouldn’t say that without the win, thank you guy I’ve never heard of.
My favorite play of the game was Hopkins zigging instead of zagging in midfield to turn a defender and get that third goal started.
Fletcher and Hopkins, really hit and miss all night but at least trying to take charge.

 

Does Kim do anything well?

Damn. Honestly. Damn. Seen thousands and thousands of games and never 4/5 PKs saved. By a sub? Who has logged 0 minutes?

love the Open Cup - happy I’m home and dry and could watch on tv
