In a thread about a month ago there was an idea to create flags with the DC logo on it that would be for all fans and supporter groups. Is there any updates on this idea? I think a lot of people would buy these if they are ever created.
You could always join the Barra Brava to get your flag. A #12 shirt and a flag are the bonuses for signing up. Then, of course, your path to the keg will always be open too! GM
I'd actually like a flag as well. I live several hours from D.C. and have only been to two games, but I'd like it to hang outside my house on game day.

As you fellas were getting snowed under, I, in southeastern N.C., had all my windows open as billowy 70-degree weather went into my apartment and making the Barra Brava flag over my window ripple. A nice little DCU moment. As for United-Kickers, Richmond plays its games at UR Stadium. No beer. But a couple years ago, a bunch of us sat in the south end zone and made a nice bit of noise that seemed to bemuse the Richmond fans.
Sounds like the opening to one of my sports articles! Jaxscribe met a couple van loads of Barra in Richmond a couple years back. The 2003 versions of the Barra flags and jerseys are here. Oscar and myself will make them public in the next few weeks.
There are a bunch of DCU supporters in/near Richmond, so it should be a big group. (Some of them have divided loyalties between the Black and Red nd the local side, though. ) rymannryan lives down near Mark Simpon's new team, at some remove from Richmond, but a shorter drive than from the NoVa area. PM him about talking his dad into bringing him up pre-game in time for a meal. There's a White Tower off East Main near the RMA where you could go. Wish I could get away that weekend. Yeah, I live in Newport News a little over an hour from Richmond. I went to the Kickers vs. Battery game in 2001 at U of R stadium so I know what its like. I actually might come with some friends and with their parents. I'm taking Behind the Wheel right now so I'll be able to drive by next Saturday, but I'm not sure if my dad will let me drive there with a couple friends. BTW, any Newport News or Hampton Roads DCU fans on here? The only one I can remember is the guy who came on as HATE_ARSENAL a while ago and was going on about how mediocre Stewart is. And also, just wondering if anyone remembers someone who played for the Battery with the last name Farris? That's my friend's cousin. Unfortunately, I believe he's quit soccer because of an injury problem.
There are a bunch of restaurants near U of R stadium on Cary Street. Maybe we can go to party before and after. Ill do some shopping for places. But i think we are going to try to take that side behind the south goal. I think its about 15 rows high. we might just fill in there. Do you know where I am talking about? try to make some noise to scare thos richmond fans and their song- "hello,hello, we are the corner kicks" . About the flag. I am still waiting on the price quote. But its going to be big. the problem will be the shipping.
