Just personal preference. Argentina and Brazil have had entertaining Domestic squad non-FIFA friendlies recently.

Also I recall a brilliant 2-2 match between Brazil and Chile.

I would like to see at least one match made up of the Colombian domestics stars.

I know. I remember those games.

I want to see one under this regime with current 2013 domestic stars like Dayro.

who would you call? Do any of these guys have realistic chances of ever playing for us? See it being basically Nacional + Santa Fe. Maybe a 1-2 guys from Millos or Dept Cali.

Thing with those friendlies is when we had Bolillo and Pinto (Ven vs Colombia domestic guys)

We basically didn't have a keeper, CBs, MF or CFs and really really sucked. Couldn't score on a open net with 15 guys vs 4 players

Well, you never know what kind of diamond in the rough player you can find. Carlos Sanchez was discovered by Pinto due to a friendly against Panama like the one I am proposing. There's lots of good talent in the Colombian League, Mexican League and Argentine League who have not been given a chance to play for Colombia yet.

True. But having a friendly can only do good in my opinion. There is no harm in it and a player like Sanchez could be discovered. You never know.

His age makes him no longer relevant to the NT. Think Pekerman doesn't think to highly of the Mexican league .

He's 30. He's not that old. I'm not saying he needs to start but he should be considered for the team. He's pretty much in the same generation of Falcao, Ramos, Zuniga, Armero and Aguilar among others.

MF is the issue but Falcao never plays. I prefer who ever is Cucuta or Unitonomas CF or fk America de Cali's striker above him.

We need a generational change up front or need to start thinking about it. Getting a guy the same age as the ones we are looking to replace doesn't seem like a good move. Daryo is a slower, weaker Bacca with less finishing and a drinking problem.

That's the problem, you can't do both. A generational change means you start young kids and plan for 2022. You essential say you are giving up qualifying for 2018. If you don't believe me look at our LB/RB. Tell me we aren't experiencing growing pains in those spots. Youth will not replace experience. Don't expect too many other players like James to come along for our NT. We could only pray it happens but not likely.

I realize Dayro isn't a long term solution but he could make a difference as a late sub here and there. Our forwards aren't in the best health right now, sadly.

Generational change but we still have all our strikers at 29-30.

They have at least 2-3 years until they are replaced we have time to let some
Of our younger strikers grow like Muriel and Duvan Zapata.

Issue with Wingbacks is Pekerman was so in love with Armero he never gave any one else playing time no longer how he was doing at his club.

He gave Andrade all the friendlies before Copa America and then never ever played him.

Arias is starting and scoring for the top team in holland and playing well in Champions if he is playing badly it's Pekermans fault.

Agree with the first , but at club level our forwards are in good form too. Dayro wont work if we continue sucking in midcamp. He wont solve anything if ge dont receive goal options
