With an italian coach as well. Plot thickens here. Let's be honest, if Everton even manage a CL spot James is getting Cantona status there.
Real Madrid are in talks with Tottenham for a loan transfer of Gareth Bale to the Premier League club. [@TheAthleticUK]— Infinite Madrid (@InfiniteMadrid) September 15, 2020
Well guys (and gal) looks like this is finally about to come to an end. I just hope we don’t pay any of his salary or if we do end up paying 50% we get a loan fee that mitigates that. Overall I just don’t want bale to cost us any more money than he already has and I would consider that a win.
Bale's agent and to some degree his own behavior have really soured any affection the fans might otherwise have for the player.
I'm hoping we just make this a permanent deal. We can go 50/50 on the contract, but get it done. Bale will not recover his value, I don't want him back next summer. He's done as a player.
I was never really a fan but that was more playing style. Then the stuff with Carlo and Rafa. But since then some of the stuff seems like he's directly trying to alienate the entire fanbase.
Tottenham close to agreeing deal for Real Madrid's left-back Sergio Reguilon on a permanent transfer. [@David_Ornstein]— Infinite Madrid (@InfiniteMadrid) September 15, 2020 Exclusive: Tottenham close to agreeing deal for Spain left-back Sergio Reguilon on permanent transfer from Real Madrid. Not done but highly possible. Man Utd have also held discussions for 23yo but no agreements with him or #RMFC @TheAthleticUK #THFC #MUFC https://t.co/1wgFAAEKUK— David Ornstein (@David_Ornstein) September 15, 2020 Looks like Jose doing us a favor on two fronts.
A permanent deal would be the best scenario for us. But I don’t know how Spurs would pay his massive salary if he doesn’t take a pay cut and how united would agree to paying it even if they can.
Damn, so we are probably doing them a favor with Reguilon because they are taking Bale off our hands. Oh well. Just wish the All or Nothing doc was taking place this season so we could see what Bale is like in the locker room.
(🚨) Tottenham Hotspur are frontrunners in the race to sign Sergio Reguilon. Manchester United and Inter Milan are also interested, but #THFC are willing to include a buy-back clause, which makes them favorites. @diarioas #rmalive ⚪️⚪️🇪🇸⌛️ pic.twitter.com/QaNGYDZ8GC— Madrid Zone (@theMadridZone) September 15, 2020
I don't think by some stroke of genius they will find a way to make it work out in their favor, its clear his wages are the problem. Let's just hope they're dumb enough to do it anyway.
Today afternoon, Tottenham made an official bid for €30m to Real for Reguilon. #THFC have accepted also the "buy back clause" and the "pre-emption clause" [refused both by #MUFC], so Real Madrid can match any other bid in the future to bring back Reguilon. 2️⃣ #MUFC #THFC— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) September 15, 2020 30 million plus a buy back and first refusal! Pretty good deal
Nope, we're losing Reguillon. The Bale stuff is probably just incidental given the current and past history.
This is a crazy good deal for your lot if true Tottenham's offer to Madrid for Reguilón is €30m, both clubs are now working to resolve some other details - Buy-back clause will be set at €35m - €40m, which could be activated in the next 2-seasons. Most likely will be shut down asap. If we're lucky, then Bale will fail miserably and we'll come into this this thread to see what comical error he made that week.
That Reguilon deal sounds too good to be true. That will be a fantastic deal if we can pull it off, not sure what Tottenham has to win with that deal. Tottenham are ready to loan out Dele Alli to Real Madrid. The proposal involves Dele Alli joining Madrid on loan until the end of the season and Real paying 100% of his wages, whilst Gareth Bale joins Spurs and they pay 50% of his wages. [@Matt_Law_DT] pic.twitter.com/caMYghOw7i— Infinite Madrid (@InfiniteMadrid) September 15, 2020 No thanks, don't think this does us much good.
Stop crushing my dreams! You can create a new thread celebrating his departure, I’ll post in it everyday in order to keep it visible lol.
If he leaves and goes to Spurs, I foresee some type of injury crisis before November. Love having you here man!
Bet Levy will pay like 5 ME each for two years in Reguilon deal. And then pay the rest if we don't invoke the buyback clause in 2022.
