Luckiest fking win in the history of time

felt like watching Bolillo colombia vs Uruguay

95 minutes of attacking 3 counterattacks and game over

honestly the 2nd half of the game felt like Shoalin Soccer how the goalie just saves everything or it keeps hitting the post.

Davinson used to get a lot of criticism from Tottenham fans and they wanted the Belgians, Vertonghen and Alderweireld to be the starters. Funny how things have changed and Sanchez is now their best CB.

I was about to ask if anyone saw how Davinson played today.
Glad he did well. Spurs have been so inconsistent since the restart of the season so it is a nice morale boost to beat Arsenal (and Davinson playing a full 90 even better).

Davinson was solid today. Arsenal goal was out of Davinson’s control - if he went for lacazette, lacazette would have passed to the guy davinson was covering who would have been 1 on 1 with the GK

Aside from that Spurs just walked over United today and Maguire - who folks might remember here as the guy who effectively called us barbarians in Russia - pretty much pooped his pants on the field which was pleasurable to watch.

Sanchez seems to have stagnated. He makes a lot of errors and usually gets covered by a strong CB partner. Noticeable both with Tottenham and Colombia.

Im afraid of this. Once you go down the pecking order with Mourinho, you’re best off putting in a transfer request :(

That’s the point lol. You’d think that with time and more PL games under his belt that a lot of those issues would clear up.

Spur's backline has been a sore spot for years. Even in that Sanchez error/play, no one manages to close down the 1-2 pass and the guy has an open shot at goal. You lose Sanchez, you replace him with who exactly? They're all highly inconsistent.

The own goal is whatever, its unlucky but its not really something to worry about. He hasn't been amazing the last year, but he was actually pretty good today. Antonio is a bitch to mark, he's super strong, fast and great in the air and for a lot of the game Sanchez kept him contained, overall I think this game was pretty good for him if you take out the own goal.

Actually these "calamities" with defenses...i didnt feel so normal before.

For example yepes, cordoba, aquivaldo, zapata even wih valdez.....surely happened but always i feel safe and thet would be solid.......only i felt uncofident with perea.....

Mina and Davinson that perea thing..since we defense with murillo is normal

its a pretty unique situation. But I want to say other teams too like Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela have had similar situations with players

i think is a different kind of situation.......actually davinson mina...reminds me more brasilian defenders.

top defenders in top clubs with ocassional bloopers.........

Ecuador, Peru and venezuela....almos always have limited defenses.....if the defense failed is more because the defenders cant perfome his duties......mina/davinon/murillo (at least until 2017) were concentration bloopers
