I knew it was going to be one of the two. Somebody needs to pay for him to be at the games. I'm pretty sure it was raining in the first half, but we were clueless until well into the second half.

You know, I spend more time than I'd like to admit watching MLS games from around the league. Of all the league's PBP guys, Johnson's one of the best. He knows the team, he knows the league, and he knows that fans of other teams might perchance be watching so he limits the homerism far more than most.

He needs to lose the goal call, though. That shit was exhausted years ago.

 

That shit is ********ing awesome and he should never stop Sports announcers live for unique calls.

 

I love the goal call. Its is 100 % class. Frankly, at this point I would miss it.

 

Plus, he hardly used it at all last year.

 

If the alternative is that stupid, drawn out "Goooooooooal!" by Cantor and his acolytes, I'm with "It's in the net" all the way.
