FYI to those wanting to see the cup in Seattle Rick's flight has been canceled and at this point don't really know when/if we'll be showing it. Sorry to any who go and find out too late.
WOW, what a day! a.) Got to see and hold the trophy b.) Great victory by the lads today c.) Great turn out at Trinity Hall today and got to finally meet Rick and a lot of other new Gooners as well! I still think I am riding off of the emotional high from this morning! Anyways below is the link to the pictures that I took with my camera today. FA Cup U.S. Trophy Tour - Dallas Pics
Hey Rick B, Where in Anaheim on the 7th? Where in LA on the 8th & 9th? Canonero49 harryhairapetian@yahoo.com
Could someone get me in contact with Tim from DC. I don't remember his username and I believe it was his camera that has a picture of me with the cup If you could please drop me a PM with the picture i'd really appreciate it.
Last I heard was Kings Head in Santa Monica on Saturday - but that was a week ago. I've got a VM into Rick, I'll ask him if/when he calls me back.
Cheers! Please keep us posted here, as well as with the time. I might stop by or call King's Head tomorrow to see if they have been contacted/notified.
Kings Head in Santa Monica Saturday afternoon is the plan. Not sure quite what time, but i'm guessing mid afternoon.
Is there any further information on the meet-up at King's Head tomorrow afternoon? I am just planning to get there around 2pm and look for others wearing red; I've never been to King's Head before, but I assume that finding the group shouldn't be too much of a problem. I look forward to meeting you gents tomorrow. Jeremy
Hello everyone, If any of you see Rick before he goes, will you ask him to get in touch with me? I've tried to get in touch with him, to no avail. Thanks in advance, Frank
He was running late. I believe the plane came in a little late, plus he just needed some sleep. Should be there now.
LA ArsenalAmerica Crew at King's Head. Great Time, beautiful day. Caught Rick shopping for girls clothes after on the promenade. How do I know? I guess I was also (it was our significant others fault). Cheers to Rick!
I just listened to yesterday's 2G's podcast. Gary was squawking a bit about how he didn't think the FA Cup's appearance in SoCal had been adequately advertised. However, as Rick was the only security for the cup (and having seen the hassle it was for him to lug around the US) I can certainly understand why its appearance wasn't over-hyped.
