they will just call up Musiala to ensure he does not change his mind and play for England , he will get a few minutes sub time and thats it.. Other then that not sure if Wirtz and Moukoko should also yet be called up . They should leave those youngster first to develop a bit more.
Moukoko should be no. Wirtz is different case. He already racking lots of minutes even as starter. From those 3, Wirtz is the most realistic ahead in terms of final squad of Euro
Jogi will take either Musiala or Wirtz to Euro. And judging by his admiration of Moukoko, I'll not surprise if he get selected too .
Surely taking a 16/17 year old with mainly bench minutes is a waste of a spot at this point? Imagine he takes Musiala or Moukoko and leaves out Muller, it would be insanity. The best 23 players should be called up, major tournaments are not the place to give kids some experience imo.
I'm also against calling up Moukoko for the Euro but you never know what's on Jogi's mind. Few years ago, he already asking about Moukoko and saying he's the future bla bla..i mean kid was like 14 lol. Realistically the Joker role will be a direct battle between Wirtz and Musiala..
not how it works, Musiala needs to apply for 1 time switch aka permanent to even play dfb. It's not call up that ties him to dfb but 1 time switch. he won't change mind, he comitted to dfb and Low said he didn't guarantee him anything....but that due to us playing 3 WCQs he's calling up extended squad likely 30 players instead of 23 and good chance Musiala wiill be there.
Despite good performances in the PSV Eindhoven jersey, Mario Götze apparently has little chance of being nominated for the European Championship in summer. "At the moment Mario is not in the inner circle, but we keep an eye on him," explains national coach Joachim Löw to the 'kicker'. Götze last played for the DFB-Elf in November 2017.
Absolutely, we need as much experience and characters in the squad as we can , majority of the time it's the cool calm and collectivness that takes teams further. Also we can't afford any raw youngsters in the squad when we have 2 of the best teams in the world in our group
Wirtz maybe, but Musiala needs more game time at Bayern so can't really take him and moukoko also needs more game time at Dortmund.
I hate Musiala, kid will rob our 2nd best player, Draxler's playing time. who doesn't want to watch out of this world backpassing skills?

lol Bild pushing for Wirtz, Moukoko and Musiala call up. https://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/...rtz-jogi-nimm-sie-alle-mit-75542058.bild.html Bayern young star Jamal Musiala (turns 18 on February 26) has chosen Germany and will be nominated for the March international matches for the first time by national coach Joachim Löw (61). And he's not alone on the go to see Jogi! With Florian Wirtz (17 / Leverkusen) and Youssoufa Moukoko (16 / Dortmund) two other super talents are causing a sensation in the league. Lately the national team was no longer fun. Low point was the miserable 6-0 in Spain. Musiala, Moukoko and Wirtz could bring our joy back. Get a taste of the EM (June 11th to July 11th), then become important performers of the new generation. ► MUSIALA has already swirled into the hearts of Bayern fans in its 26 professional appearances (six starting eleven, four goals). The dribbler at "sportschau.de": "I will do everything I can to recommend myself for the EM with good performances in the second half of the season." ► WIRTZ is a regular in Leverkusen (28 games, 7 goals, 7 assists). With a market value of 45 million euros, he is currently the most valuable 17-year-old. Löw watched him on Sunday in Augsburg (1: 1). Wirtz on EM: "I'm not sure if I can allow this dream." ► MOUKOKO only turned 16 in November and since then has made 13 competitive games for the BVB professionals (2 goals). A real clipper is missing in the DFB team, Moukoko could learn at the EM, then slowly mature into a top striker. The fact is: Kai Havertz (21 / Chelsea) was the last debutant in 2018 who was younger than 20 years.
lol age is irrelevant, said it in youth thread, huge teenage obsession in world right now. Why mention less than 20??? But experience which comes with age is more important than raw/unpolished players. could see 3/3 for 2022 WC but not for Euro.
yeahhh just a pity we dont have any defenders ...... what about GK as youngsters will we ever have another Meier, Schumacher, Kahn or Neuer on the horizon? Germany producing some of the best AM and DM in the world but where are the Lahm, Boa, Hummels, Kohler , Merte , Brehme, Sammer, Reuter,Beckenbauer, Buchwald and Berthold's of the world (am sure I forgot a whole string of great German defenders)? Maybe Draxler can play DM for the next few decades???????
Raw talent needs to be polished off by consistent performances in the league and cups, only then should be considered for selection
