    Bild Reports :

Loew declined the offer to resign after euros 21!!!

Löw is becoming a hungry power money seeking leader who does not want to let go. In history we have had people like that. It has always ended in disaster .

Löw wants to stay in charge purely for personal reasons .

He can’t face the media himself at this stage to comment .

This is the worst show of our arse scratching , nose picker coach.

He has no energy left in him, no new ideas no plan no balls or passion left in him - he just wants to make as much money as he can before he retires permanently. We will
Loose a whole generation of talented players that will go down in history as Germany dark ages of football

Mustafi, Draxler and Tah will lead Germany to glory. Who needs losers like Hummels, Muller and Boateng?

The DFB power struggle for Löw is raging

Munich - Despite the commitment to Löw, there is no peace at the DFB. Now it became public that Keller had proposed a resignation to Löw to resign from the national coach. A power struggle is raging.

Side by side, Joachim Löw and Fritz Keller sat next to each other in the car on the day after the 6-0 debacle in Spain to make their way from Munich to their home in Freiburg. So far, it has been assumed that the national coach and the DFB President are close friends, but this assumption is wrong.

The relationship between Keller and Löw is damaged!

Presidium members confirm this status quo to SPORT1. The relationship between national team director Oliver Bierhoff and Löw is still intact and characterized by mutual trust.

Keller wanted to convince Löw to resign. On Wednesday, Bild reported that Keller had recently tried unsuccessfully to convince Löw to resign after the EM 2021.

According to SPORT1 information, Keller had this idea immediately after the 6-0 debacle in Spain, he is said to have talked to Löw about it and also made it known internally. However, this thought game never became concrete, although the Keller idea was briefly addressed at the Löw summit on Monday in Frankfurt. However, Keller experienced a lot of headwinds, since the presidium is pro Löw.

A member of the Presidential Committee, which Keller, Rainer Koch (1st Vice President Amateurs), Peter Peters, according to SPORT1 information one of the Löw supporters and 1st Vice President of the Professionals, Stephan Osnabrügge (Treasurer) and DFB General Secretary Friedrich Curtius (absent due to illness ), Keller is said to have put in their place on Monday morning by informing the president that Löw would be publicly weakened in the event of his premature end being announced after the European Championship - and that this idea makes no sense if he is given at the same time until the tournament to express confidence.

Meanwhile, Keller wanted to send a public message with Löw's declaration of resignation.

Löw doesn't think about giving up

Accordingly, Löw is said to have asked impulsively on Monday: "How do you deal with executives here? Do you keep me out of conviction?" The Presidium gave him the answer in the form of a press release in writing and verbally beforehand: Löw remains national coach! Keller's move, on the other hand, was a classic own goal by the president. What makes Löw all the more mad according to SPORT1 information is not the criticism of his person, but the fact that again internal information from confidential DFB meetings has come to the public. Giving up is not yet an option for the well-deserved world champion coach from 2014, although the national coach would even give up his position for the benefit of the national team according to SPORT1 information - whenever that is possible.

Löw is particularly concerned about the current disloyal state at the top of the DFB. He knows like no other: It takes cohesion, loyalty and trust to be able to achieve the ambitious goals for the next year.

Power struggle in the DFB leadership.

In any case, a power struggle is raging in the DFB leadership like seldom before. Keller is fighting for more decision-making power, as this was taken from him due to numerous restructuring at the beginning of his term of office. Curtius, Koch and Osnabrugge take their opposition.

A DFB employee predicted to SPORT1: "It will escalate." Risk of explosion at the DFB! On Friday, Bierhoff will publicly comment on the Löw summit and face selected media representatives in a digital round (SPORT1 reported).
The national team director also knows that there is a blaze of fire internally at the DFB, while at the same time, in cooperation with Löw, he is doing everything in his power to take the right sporting measures. Keller himself attended a press conference on Wednesday to present a UEFA study on amateur football. Questions about Löw were not allowed. Löw's future remains uncertain after the recent disruptions. Nobody can estimate how the national coach will react. After the European Championships at the latest, he will take stock in collaboration with Bierhoff.

I would not say that. This is the first step toward recalling one, if not two of the players. They are trying to do this in a manner that shows bringing anyone of them back is his decision, not something forced on him.

Spiegel reports that Löw and Keller were yelling at one another in the library of the DFB headquarters for over an hour on Monday with Löw saying Keller was backstabbing him and Keller trying to get him to quit or to make a promise to resign after 2021. Spiegel says that Löw prevailed in this fight now turned the "coach debate" into a "president debate". Keller now looks like he was on knees begging Löw to resign. Keller, the "aimlessly wandering" president

I hope you're right. To say that they will only be recalled in exceptional circumstances such as a high number of injuries is quite frankly insulting. Low should be on his knees begging those guys to come back.

I hope at least Hummels and Muller are back in the squad in March, but let's be honest even if they are the team will continue to be a hot mess under Low.

I would think boetang should be a cert, playing in the backline of the European champions last season and this , gives him the competitive edge as he's playing at the highest possible level.

Sorry, that's not quite clear from my translation. Keller basically tried to distance himself from Löw from the day after the 0-6 game. But Keller did not want to fire Löw here and now as other council members do. Keller's solution was to keep Löw until 2021 and then Löw would resign voluntarily. Other council members reject this approach "as it would hardly make sense" to keep Löw when you want to dump him in 1 year anyway. Then, there seem to be council members who still want to keep Löw forever. So, the DFB council is in a Mexican standoff of various opinions blocking each other and somehow in the end Löw remains in office.

The euphoric press release from Monday praising Löw was the result of Keller realizing his "1 year + resignation" attempt has no majority as no other opinion has a majority.

Plus Bierhoff is sport director/manager. So, if you want to fire Löw youll need his ok too or you would have to fire Bierhoff too. Again, with majority only

NFF fired Lagerbäck after poor results. And this from a nation not anywhere near Germany in football, but still managed to do the right thing, realizing it was the only thing to do to get anywhere with our current team.

Löw knows, that on paper, he has a title winning team there and just want the lucky punch to reestablish himself. But it won't work.

Gnabry has looked largely poor this season bar the Schalke game.

Leroy needs to step up as well.

I think Gnabry needs a long rest.

Sane seems to have lost his dribbling ability. I wonder if that can happen after a cruciate injury?
