" The man who bites the Chicago keeper" I wish this headline gets picked up by every major news agency and this kind of press might put MLS on the front pages of sport section for a few days .

He tried to pit Matt Pickens in today's game. He was red carded for the scuffle.

Wow. Not only does the striker get kicked in the thigh by the keeper, then pushed as soon as the keeper gets up, but when the keeper has his hands on the guys face and he gets those fingers gone, people compare him to Tyson. Thats hilarious. How many people on this forum even watch the damn games? It was the highlighted game for the week on FSC FFS.

Perkins was also to blame for the debacle, and got off free. He should have been carded as opposed to Diego.

I don't care how Danny was incited, you can't try to bite people so blatently. Obvious red card. Any league, any country. If the ref sees that its a red card. I don't think he saw the Perkins actions as play was continuing up the field.

Although, after this incident and the challenge on Hartman the other week, it looks like here's a European import who really wants to compete and not soft pedal for an easy pay-day. Maybe he's overstepping the competing line a tad though.

The challenge by Dichio was completely fair. The reaction by perkins was unfounded and deserved to be carded (he kicked him then got up and went at him). Dichios reaction to the challenge ALSO deserved to be carded (He got pissed, rightfully so I say, but he lost it, he even admits it). I think a red card is fine for Dichio, but no further suspension (and I do believe perkins got off light and should count himself lucky).

Sorry but, card or not, dichio is a legend in Toronto. He has secured himself by his 35ish minutes of play, and will go down in history. First goal, first red, he is someone we can cheer for (no, I am not advocating reds).

He wasn't trying to bite anybody. He was just yelling a lot of junk, and they were so up-in-each-other's-face that it kind of looked like it.

I think there WAS a foul on the initial play. But the keeper's reaction is what triggered that whole mess. So for him to escape with nothing is a crime. Once the brawl started, it's take-your-pick time as to who should be thrown out.

how can you watch Danny "Big Gulp" Dichio turn his head towards whoever's face and hand is there close his eyes, open his mouth wide and snap and not say there isn't an attempt at a bite? It's an inexcusable action no matter who started it. Some of our Canadian posters have said that he admits he deserved red. I don't know many people who think they deserve red just for yelling really really hard at a couple of guys. He knows what he did.

Picken's was DEFINITELY very VERY lucky that he wasn't disciplined. Something tells me the league may yet change that.
