Danny Carter, an ODP Europe player who was at SC Hauenstein, is apparently at SV Waldhof playing for their A-youth team. (The next step up would be their reserve/amateur squad.) I think the team (senior and junior) is pretty lousy.

I had mistakenly identified his team in the "master list" and will correct it. Meanwhile, here's a blurb that mentions his name:

(Search on "Carter".) Can anyone translate for me?

    I've lost track of his age -- I think he's an 84 or 85.

Says that Carter is playing for Waldhof Mannheim A-juniors (17-19). He was with Hauenstein's A juniors in 2001.

Waldhof dropped from D2 to D4 after not getting the licence for D3. They have to money and filed a request for the insolvency procedure. If it works, then they'll start in D4 (if he's talented, they might move him up), otherwise the club will stop existing.

Thanks... Man, what is with all these plummeting Yanks and their insolvent German clubs?

Well, I mean come on. The original post said the guy was 84 or 85. Can't expect the fans to pay much to see that...

No price is too much to see a young American in action. Or any American for that matter. We have the 26 best goalkeepers in the world, haven't you heard?
