Asked to be subbed out from some pain on the knee I think. He walked out just fine, hopefully nothing severe Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Very good match from this guy today against Osasuna. I'm curious to see if Abel has leaped him in the depth chart.
I agree and for me it doesn't matter who will start next to La Roca. I just like continuation and if a player proves himself, and we all know how important Aguilar is to the NT under Pekerman, then I like to give him the benefit to continue. But for me any one of them will be fine.
Torres played so well against Venezuela and helped us produce chances with beautiful passing. I would favor him over Abel but he was not bad against Uruguay.
Para atacar no estoy de acuerdo...se mueve mucho en sector defensivo. Yo no lo veo haciendo las descolgadas de Abel por ejemplo No me refería a perezoso , con estático aclaró Pd: no me pude ver el último partdo
Torres struggling to get consistent playing time at Alaves after being a regular part of the core squad between August and January.... last 4 games - did not feature at all (zero minutes in last 10 of 14 games) hope he can regain a spot - anyone know what is going on? http://www.espnfc.us/player/188170/dani-torres
He lost his spot to Marcos Llorente and Manu Garcia. And that is completely understandable in my opinion. They are similar to Torres in their playing style but aren't as static. I think Torres will be important the next season, he just lacked some tactical thing that he has probably improved. So the fact that he isn't playing now isn't worrisome to me. Besides, he was a great investment for Alaves, and he hasn't been terrible for them, he just lost his spot to guys who were in a best form.
thanks! good to know. would like to see Torres stick around and become integral to their team. Garcia is their captain and has been with the team since they were in 3rd tier so it will be interesting to see how he continues to progress at the top flight level.
Torres set up Alaves' go-ahead goal with a nice waited pass to the winger. He's playing pretty well today
Well Llorente will almost certainly be back with Real Madrid next season. So he should get much more playing time if he stays.
