Since Copa play, we've lost Munoz threat on the flanks. No threat on offense and just ok on defense That's well over a year with this BS, Don't know if it's a coaching tactic but he's not giving this NT even 50% of what we see for club. What am I missing?

He’s more of a wing back for Palace no? Much more freedom going forward

but yes, he has been underwhelming

he was doing Wing back work with the Colombia NT. Dont forget that crazy goal against Spain in that one friendly. happened because he was always pushing up.

I agree. It's frustrating. He's still the best RB we have at this level, but he's the best RB in the prem - if we get that guy (like we did vs. Spain) it will make such a difference.

This is totally right. And Lorenzo took all the blame too.

A few brain farts less and we would have qualified three fixtures early...

Important thing is what we are through and these guys will get to show what they can do at the big dance...as long as we stay healthy.

when those guys lost their form after Copa, James play or lack of play and pace stood out even more. Prior to and during Copa James looked so good because he was just one of the cogs in our attacking front. He wasn't the only player we relied on.
It didnt help when Lorenzo wasnt trying to make any changes to players or formation, just anything to just shake up things. So there was some 'right' in that frustration.

moral of the story the team that uses their colombians wins.

Now Arias made a lucho blooper. Hes obviously under a lot of pressure, starting on the bench and wanting to prove himself. Had that been in fluminense he wouldve buried it.

I get it. I want him to be great. He hurt us missing the final of the CA and he almost cost us qualification to the dance with his mental errors.

It's tough managing the transition from supporter to expected star on an NT and he's got to do it.
