Dani in both Jammie Carraghers and Gary Nevilles. Team of the season. Lucho didn't make any of the sides. Who do you agree with? Palace may have to play conference league instead of Europa League if Lyon qualifies for EL. Sucks. They may avoid it if Reims beats PSG in the french cup final. Don't see that happening at all though. They are 16th in the table and probably face relegation. Reims is a weird club 9 black guys and 2 japs in the starting lineup.

Yes these late bloomers are in a way equally impressive as the Yamals. Hope Rios can find his recognition in europe too, but it might be too late for him, not to mention Arias who is the saddest story of them all.
rios it’s the price tag. If he went to Belgium or holland For 5-7m then killed it like Dani did then he would justify his price tag. Relative unknown had a killer copa America but without a eu pass port and not from Argentina, or Brazil…. Hard to stomach that 30+ million price tag his club wanted who our last big mf signing that did well? James? But he went to Porto…. Lerma went to 2nd division, as did Abel….. Teams just don’t want to take chances on our players who are not defenders especially for big money
More impressive. Kids like Yamal and Messi are blessed by God. They’ve always known success. They’ve always been better than everyone else. now there is a lot of pressure that comes from that so I am not saying it’s easy, but it’s not as difficult as someone who keeps being told no over and over. To not lose self belief, to not lose faith, to not let doubt creep in. The margins are so small between making it and not making it that most people under Muñoz’ circumstances don’t make it even if the talent was there.
Seems like they will play Europa league after all.... Crystal Palace's participation in European competition is not hindered by UEFA's multi-club ownership rules. Although John Textor owns 43% of Palace and is also the majority shareholder of French club Lyon, he holds only 25% of voting rights at Palace, and the clubs do not share management, facilities, or staff. If necessary, Textor's shares could be placed in a blind trust to address any concerns . Manager Oliver Glasner has emphasized the importance of sustainable growth following this historic achievement, aiming to avoid becoming a "one-hit wonder" .
Still think they will cash in on him and a few players. Lot of teams want their #9 and inter wants their cb
