Hernandez goes 90' but Necaxa lost 0-3. Game was delayed 20 minutes both uniforms Necaxa had taken looked too much like the Tecos home uniform. After about 20 minutes Tecos finally agreed to change uniforms. I thought things like that only happened in MLS!
there's a relatively short article in this week's Soccer America about Hernandez. supposedly they love him at Necaxa, and many people in the Mexican soccer press are calling for his inclusion on the Mexican national team, something Hernandez is not opposed to. and according to the Necaxa coach, inquiries have been made from the national team management to Necaxa and Hernandez about just that. also, whereas before playing for MLS Hernandez was barely recognized in his hometown of Tyler, TX, now when he is home on vacation he is recognized in banks, supermarkets, on the streets, etc. the MFL is big in Texas and Hernandez is now a star. ps. o yea, hernandez said that Arena hasn't made any contact with him since he was last in camp, which i forget when it was but was a long time ago.
