Skill over brut force, Schopp for a mile......I will like this:

    Waterreus

    Freeman......Stammler........Mendes........Dunnivant

    Schopp...................Reyna..............Van der Berg

    Atidore...........Mathis............Pablo

If Van der Berg get his green card, I will like a good center defense a mentor a la Carlos Alberto because we need something there, yesterday was obvious

I'd hold off on this kind of a line-up until a better central defender comes along, or we'll be seeing a lot more games like last night's :( (or close to the score line at least, without the ref giving PKs away)

That maybe true sublicon, but :D we can agree the style of play & speed Richards has can be compared to Wright-Phillips.

:D Please don't shout at me.

i would have to say that is the worst RBNY line up i have ever say

    4-3-3??

three fowards up top will never work and plus schopp has nothing on dane, its danes spot to loose hes scoring assisting what more do you want, and plus schopp isnt the future, he is a season to season guy, with dane we know we have him for a while so i wouldnt even think twice about schopp goin in, its danes spot and i think thats final

dammit sublicon..i was hoping no one would notice this.. i am sorry. but when i saw Dane..Wright Richards i thought i was watching a CHELSEA game.

HOLLY COW....dude move's the same way. and for chelsea.. we all know that THEY BUY THERE WINS. ..with the team they have, they suck. i like manchester united...because of christiano ronaldo....and i love FULHAM. the underdog..the best fans as i have seen, and heard nothing but good things about them. brian mcbride - carlos bocanegra- and our little ronaldo AKA clint dempsey.

SCREW CHELSEA.. AND STEVEN COHEN. ARE YOU HAPPY NOW SUBLICON?LOL

yes thats why Chelsea are 2nd in the Prem table, and your team barely avoided relegation.

lets leave other teams out of this eh?

Who's this Chelsea girl everyone keeps talking about, and what's a "Chelsea game?" It all sounds rather dirty.

The thing I never get is people's team allegiance. You say that as if we're supposed to be embarrassed or pissed off or something, or our egos taken down a notch. You could also say my sister is an ugly whore, and okay fine, she might be, but she's still my sister. Same thing with my team...15th place? Fine. Still my team. Coca-Cola Championship? Fine! Still Fulham.

God forbid Mourinho gets canned and they get a new manager to run the club into the ground . . . american glory-hounds will all be singing "glory glory man united" then.

    That being said....

THERE'S ONLY ONE TEAM IN FULHAM,
THERE'S ONLY ONE TEAM IN FULHAM,
THERE'S ONLY ONE TEAM IN FUUUUUULHAAAAAM,
THERE'S ONLY ONE TEAM IN FULHAM

Sublicon you may be right, but why do you automatically assume that I am a "glory hunter". Granted maybe a lot of Chelsea fans in America are, but theres no need to stereotype. Just because I am a Chelsea fan doesnt mean I am a glory hunter, have you ever thought that maybe I have been a Chelsea fan for a while?

I didnt mean to disrespect your team, I was just responding to the other guys whack at Chelsea. In fact I like Fulham and wish them all the best.

As far as Dane Richards goes, yeah he's great. I've been saying that since day one.

P.S.: I hope Mourinho gets canned.

What can I say? Statistics show that 8 out of 10 Chelsea/Man U/Liverpool/Arsenal fans are glory hunters . . . granted my own research firm conducted that study, but I stand by the data!!! :D

As great as Dane has been playing, I still remember what a 60% in-form Schopp was doing to MLS defenses (especially at the play-off game in DC). I'd like to see Schopp be on the field as much as possible.

I bet Richards, Altidore and other young guys learn a lot from him and the other "veterans" (Reyna, Angel) - especially the right touch on the ball - and that was also a reason Bruce wanted Markus.

The other side is that Schopp said in an interview (when he was in Germany) that he still has a lot to give and is eager to do so.

So Bruce can choose between two completely different types of players for the same position which offers him a great variety of tactical alternatives.

Richards: happy-go-lucky rookie, very fast and lively on the field
Schopp: experienced international, able-bodied, good touch on the ball
