    Speaking of fantasies about DaMarcus.....

actually, I have more of a question: okay, well first I have a statement: it's great that Beasley will be back for the next game. Now I have a question: What do you guys think about the Fire roster during the confed. cup? Specifically, is there any way we can play Damani, Jaqua and Razov at the same time? Also, when is Dipsy going to be able to fit in? Can any of these four players work as an attacking midfielder?

I think our young guys should be able to hold up on their own while our key players are serving the country. With the way the youngins have been playing lately (Mapp, Pause, Damani, FUTAGAKI!!!), the Confed. Cup would actually be a blessing for the growth of our Fire with more playing time for these guys.

As for an attacking midfield role, Damani's dribbling skills might put him as a good position for that, but I don't know if it would be good to play Jaqua, Ante, Ralph at the same time. We need some kind of backup for one of them. This is a time to experimentation. It's not like we're the only team missing out on some key players. Why not try Capano, Mapp, or FUTAGAKI!!! Worked for me in CM4 :D

CLUB over country. The USMNT has no business playing both a Gold Cup and Confed Cup during the MLS regular season, much less a bunch of friendlies leading up to the tourneys.

Well, at least we have an 8 out of 10 playoff system to fall back on in case a team goes in the tank playing with a less-than-full-squad ... not saying it will happen to Chicago.

Well the Gold Cup is important, and there's not much to be done about its timing, but generally I agree. One's club duties should come ahead of his national team when they conflict, with the exception of the Gold Cup and World Cup.
