Dalmat at it again...... I can understand him being frustrated at not being picked, and having no chance of joining permanently, but he has become a disaster. O'Hara is one of our brightest prospects, I would have kicked Dalmat's ass if I was one of the other players.

Gross says some interesting things about us:

Is that a subtle pop at Pleat? I think so.

That's true, Walker was always more interested in doing his hair than saving goals! That was a mistake by Gross and it spread to the rest of the squad.

The shocking thing about Dalmat is that this is his third violent confrontation with a Spurs player - two times with youth players and once with Stephen Carr.

The guy is mental and I'm glad we just loaned him.

Was it Yank Footie legend Vince Lombardi who said 'The secret to mangement is keeping the 5 players who hate your guts away from the 5 who are undecided.'?

Nethercott, while not the greatest Spurs defender ever, used to complain that Walker picked the Spurs defence, so he never got a look in.

As for Baardsen, I moaned constantly about him being replaced with Walker when Walker returned from injury. Walker was just rubbish, he was always doing idiot things like smiling when he let the ball in.

Terminate the deal, 3 games to go and he won't feature (probably).

I made it clear before he came that I wasn't a Dalmat fan. He may be talented, but something's just not right with him and he doesn't get the results you'd expect for him and his talents. But as far as bust ups in the locker room or at practice, I'd tend to cut him a little slack, because athletes need that aggressive battling edge to be successful, and while it's not usually reported, it happens a lot more than people think. Of course he's frustrated, and proud, talented, ambitious athletes who have been shunned by multiple teams (Inter and Spurs for Dalmat) get very frustrated. It's a real test of character. I will not be sad to see him go (but not happy about having him back at Inter either), but I don't plan on holding any grudges. Best of luck to him.

I'd rather he didn't pick on the Spurs youth team though.

can't jump on board with that, there are far too many great players out there that don't feel the need to pull some **************** macho nonsense with kids in the locker room. dalmat's petulant attitude and violent outbursts are a sign of immaturity not aggressive edge.

i've never heard of henry or owen or shearer or zidane getting in to a single punch up, let alone 3 in a single season. while locker room bust ups may not be reported (and personally i'm disinclined to believe it happens all that often), if dalmat's had three reported then how many haven't been reported? if it's only been those three then why have they been reported when others haven't? either way the guy is a headcase.

Dalmat is gone. A sound move, he wasn't getting any football and after his form slipped he didn't deserve any. Best rid of him seeing as the club weren't going to sign him permanently.

I will remember his superb run of form though a few months back. He looked superb, full of running and tricks. Shame it didn't last.

Another story, but it says the same things:

I think Sendorange said it all, sound move, he's not going to add anything to the rest of this season and they may be able to use his dismissal as a rallying point for the players. Everyone knows they're playing for their jobs, and everyone knows that nonsense will not be tolerated. A new coach comes in next season, and the auditions have officially begun.

He's also out of pocket by £250k because Inter won't be paying his wages until the date he was supposed to return, June 1st.

    Tee hee hee!
