FCD was looking for a major team to paly a friendly against, but was rebuffed by all the good teams. Rangers, however, would be a wonderful choice. It is a big team with a great tradition. As an additional bonus, they are used to getting beaten by teams wearing hoops. Dead but dreaming, Scipio Diabolus, vox fatum. Contra. Staying on.

Right on...I'm able to make the separation between the two, no prob I think I was the only one on the bus Sat cheering for Rangers when they narrowly defeated a surprisingly strong, Robert Duvall-led Kilnockie team Timmy's done a better job of recruiting in the States tho. I think it's the combination of the Nike deal (the kits are in a lot of stores), the games they've played here, and the craic-head diaspora. The idea of an FCD-Gers friendly at PHP is a good one!
