Due to the amount of really fit women I met while I was in Dallas I would now like to become a token fan! Is that ok with you Dallas fans?

Mark "Jonno" Johnson. He's Scottish, he's allowed to look silly.

Do you think your psychologically ready to cheer for a team that wears "Hoops", Burkies?

Welcome aboard :) We do have some insanely hot ones here. You'd better have plenty of $$$ to make them happy though :)

BGM - don't take this post seriously. Nothing runningman (or oman, or Scipio Gothicus, or myself) should ever be taken seriously.

Really? Not the impression I got. One told me I could have my pick due to my accent as well! :D

Texas women get all wet for accents - is this a Texas thing? Can anyone confirm?

Not a Texas thing.....American women fall for accents in general.

ZenCarver's list [in post #10] is indeed a comprehensive list.

FCD was looking for a major team to paly a friendly against, but was rebuffed by all the good teams. Rangers, however, would be a wonderful choice. It is a big team with a great tradition. As an additional bonus, they are used to getting beaten by teams wearing hoops.

    Dead but dreaming,
    Scipio Diabolus,
    vox fatum.

    Contra.

    Staying on.

    Trash talk eh!?!?!

That would be good actually. A game against you in that heat would be good for the boys pre season!

Is there enough booze in your city for our fans though!?!

I once heard a comic explain it as having a foreigner is kind of like traveling out of the country.

Right on...I'm able to make the separation between the two, no prob :)

I think I was the only one on the bus Sat cheering for Rangers when they narrowly defeated a surprisingly strong, Robert Duvall-led Kilnockie team ;)

Timmy's done a better job of recruiting in the States tho. I think it's the combination of the Nike deal (the kits are in a lot of stores), the games they've played here, and the craic-head diaspora.

The idea of an FCD-Gers friendly at PHP is a good one!

    You can talk of California
With your sunshine all the year,
You can talk about your Broadway lights so clear
But it would fill my heart with gladness
If we only had the Rangers over here

It would have been better if Michael Keaton said "I'm Batman" somewhere in there.

That should be a contractual obligation for all his movies.

"Ach, why are ye movin' the team doon to Dublin then, guv'nor?"

    "I'm Batman."
