It used to be a six screen movie theater. Now it's a very large bar/restaurant with lots of pool tables and televisions. The food is pretty good, the drinks are kind of pricey. But they are served by waitresses in schoolgirl outfits.

Now why did you go and say that?

I was gonna take it easy and watch the game at home.

Now I have to go and find my ruler!

I can see that ruler serving more than one purpose.

I plan to go to Pugsley's. They have a live radio show about cigars there, so I know a littel bit about it. MUCH nicer than Ben's, though no half yards. Fantastic selection of beer, and what you want is probably on tap. Though you don't drink, so I wonder why I am explaining this.

Yeah, young pretty girls in school girl outfits. They do not seem to kiss each other. Personally, I have seen the school girl outfit done to death, so either do it better than anyone else, or don't do it at all. Puglesy's can not touch the Genitorturers or Bozo Porno Circus, or half the little goth girls in Deep Ellum.

I plan on being there. Might try to drag the Wanderer out of his cave. :)

Oh and Scipio, I can still look and imagine how good a Carlsberg taste like can't I? According my my watch and my calendar, I have about a year left before I am free from this curse.

    Re: carlsberg?

I could find one if needed, but I would be at risk of getting kicked out of school(long story). Still fun to hang out. Looks like I'll be playing the DD role tonight. I charge less than most cab companies. :)

    yea

he wanted to..could see it in his eyes...my problem.. why was olsen the only player comforting him..i mean where were his teammates..while i thought our play was better the lack of soladarity for a wounded teammate was in in-excuseable to me...they shoulda formed a screen around him and kept kova from coming over.the h### with the professionalism s## stand up for youre man down. just like mavs last nite allowing whoever to dance under their basket...so's me a deeper problem amongst our boys...

On the Dc thread, they are saying it is a broken ankle. Man this really sucks. There should be a ban and fine.

    Back to the original topic

Pugsley's wasn't too bad. Large area, big screen with several small tvs. Good food. A really nice young blonde in the schoolgirl outfit who was the server. Should have asked for her name. She was about my age. :)

    Re: kinda anemic

Yes, in last year's All Star Game!

You make a good point about the lack of solidarity shown by the team. The only thing I can think of is that they were all so concentrated on Demon that they forgot to comfort their own man. The lack of cohesiveness on this team really worries me.

Yes, we need fighters on the team. I wonder if Derian Hatcher will consider giving up hockey and becoming the enforcer for the Burn.

    wht.button shirt

aw yes..i wanted to ask her where she got it...it would look great on the wife..she was agreat model for it though, not overly endowed, nor under. :) married, old, but not dead...frank could it be jeffries is to blame for the lack of fight in our team..what with this godforsaken excuse me "english stlye futball" i mean the first min. of ot playing for the point.....the lack of cohesiveness is something ms.charlie touched on,in her rah-rah post on topica..no team spirit, clicks amongst players..soccer is truly a team sport..not to be performed in a job like manor,we can all punch a clock, but we do not succeed as a unit till we"pick-up"our fellow employees when need be,not just show em up when opportunity arises..you have to luv the game as a player, not just what is my assignment to-nite.it's our problem as a team, that the "sandlot"mentality is gone..either do your'e assignment or ride the pine.no impromtu allowed cause you could get burned..any other sport and 2 points outa 9 gets ....sorry to long..frank
