0-0, typical DC game, Burn played like crap, even thought we had at least 3 good opportunities which should have been goals. I'm probably not gonna get a lot of support, but I think EJ is way over-rated. He had one good run and thats it, he just isn't that great. Thats just my opinion though

EJ isn't great, but he is an improvement over Rhine. DJ however is not overrated and he deservingly recieved MOTM. The score could have easly been 2-0 or 3-0 if it wasn't for his finger tip saves. Suarez needs a hair cut, but it isn't as bad as half of Dc's team. Could not put the game away with the limited shots they had. Need to find someone for the middle now with ROB being out for at least a month.

Dissapointed with the result but more dissapointed with O'Brien's injury. Fractured right tibia accrding to MLS wrap, no word on recovery time. One of these days Kovalenko will get karmic retribution. Brad Davis will probably be a starter until Pareja returns.

DJ Countess was huge on the 1v1 against Kovalenko and also when he parried el Diablo's shot late in the first half. He also benefitted from Earnie Stewart's poor finishing, but every good keeper needs a little luck.

Suarez had a stretch midway through the second half where he was way to casual with his back passes to DJ. He put DJ in four or five compromising situations within a span of 10 minutes. After that he played pretty well.

The substitution for Vaca was poorly timed. He was subbed out right after setting up Martinez for his one time shot that almost beat Rimando. That should have bought him at least 5 more minutes.

Broome had a rough start but played pretty well after that.

EJ played well. Once he nets one, many more will come. He was unfortunate to head that corner kick service off the crossbar.

Martinez was the most dangerous player when he managed to stay on his feet. He faded late in the game, looked like he was hurt.

Deering had his second consecutive piss poor game.

Was it me or did O'Brien and Vaca switch spots in the second half? Brad Davis played more centrally when he subbed in for Vaca.

Kreis only had two chances all night. One he muffed with the left peg and one was saved by Rimando.

Behncke played well. Good composure on the ball. Read the passing lanes well and pushed forward.

Rhine looked pretty good as a sub. His touch was much better than it has been the last few games.

I'm not so sure that we're creating enough quality chances.

I hope ROB heals quickly, but my gut is telling me 4-6 weeks to heal, and then probably another month to regain fitness and strength in those muscles that will be weakened...

Anyone still worried about Countess' ability? The guy's a stud, he even ole'd a DCU defender in the box one time and maintained possession. That looked kind of world classish to me.....

It looks like DJ is the real deal. Just another American goalkeeper who will eventually play in Europe.

Definetly, I was amazed by some of his saves last night, kept us from being embarrassed by DC. He does it so calmly too, just like "meah, it was no big deal". I love it!

Yeah I guess if I was a DC fan I'd be hoping for that too.

Rhine has had his chance. Now it is time to see if Ej can be effective up front with Kries. Note this is not saying Rhine won't earn the starting spot back, but it isn't just going to be given back to him.

Well wanting is fair but 'deserves' I think not. Bobby is a great guy and works like a dog but that doesn't mean he deserves to start. He played like crap in the 1st game and lost his spot. In the 2 games since EJ has played better. End of story.

Why wasn't Cerritos on either the Injury Report or the played/subs not used lists? I would have thought if you were looking for a goal, Cerritos would have been an option and he was supposedly healthy.
