I'm posting this on every team board; this is the sixth out of ten. FYI, the gap between #1 and #2, Kreis and Graziani, is the biggest out of any MLS team. MLS 91-Jason Kreis 30-Ariel Graziani 25-Jorge Rodriquez 24-Dante Washington 19-Bobby Rhine 19-Eddie Johnson 15-Gerell Elliot 15-Damian 13-Chad Deering 12-2 tied Playoffs 5-Ariel Graziani 4-Jason Kreis 4-Dante Washington 3-Chad Deering 2-3 tied Open Cup 4-Jason Kreis 4-Dante Washington 3-5 tied Continental 2-Dante Washington Overall 99-Jason Kreis 36-Ariel Graziani 34-Dante Washington 27-Jorge Rodriguez 24-Bobby Rhine 22-Eddie Johnson 19-Chad Deering 19-Gerell Elliot 15-Damian 15-Ted Eck MLS Single Season 19-Jason Kreis (1999) 15-Ariel Graziani (2000) 13-Jason Kreis (1996) 13-Jason Kreis (2002) 12-2 tied Overall Single Season 20-Jason Kreis (1999) 18-Dante Washington (1997) 15-Ariel Graziani (2000) 14-3 tied
I don't remember Gerell scoring 15! I remember him him blowing by everyone and blowing a shot over the crossbar. If Eddie has another year like this one he leaps into second.
Shoot. If we let Jason Kreis go for draft picks we may not see for years, we sure as hell aren't bringing back Dante Washington.
3-4 every year. Most certainly the bulk. He took every one if he was on the field. And for good reason, ice ran through his veins and I don't believe he ever missed one. He made the last one that clinched the Open Cup.
Zarco went 7 for 7 on PK's during his Burn career. Graziani scored his 30 regular season goals in 57 games. Basically a goal every other game. He scored his 5 post season goals in 11 playoff games although it does need to be mentioned that he was shut out in the 5 playoff games he played in 2000 and 2001. Still his post season production was still a goal every other game. One last comment about Graziani, he never took a PK or a free kick for the Burn, all of his Burn goals came during the run of play.
