The Burn website says the 5/29 watching party will be at the Stadium Cafe in Addison again. Kickoff @ 9. I thought this game wasnt going to be live even on the Direct Kick package. With the watching party at 9 it sounds like it will be live. That or we will all be s-faced by the beginning of the game at 12:30a

Thanks, it turned out pretty good if I do say so myself! I had to shrink it down though -- the original is better: see it

By the way, I just looked up the game. It's on ESPN2 at 1:30am our time (will the bar close before the game ends??) The game is not part of the MLS Direct Kick package. The game is not being shown on HDNet either.

What's the plan? I'm willing to go out at 1:30am if others are and Stadium Cafe let's us come.

I believe that the kick off is at 0030 Central. I'm out if the game is not being shown live. Too many bad things can happen after certain hours of the night.
    Salud!

No, it's 1:30am ET. 12:30am our time. A bar willing to stay open past bar time is still a legitimate question.

I'm willing to guess that someone over there at Burn HQ just figured out there is no live broadcast and so they took it off the website. Question for anyone that might know....doesn't LA have a local broadcast deal where all home games are televised? Would this broadcast somehow be available for the watching party. I have no idea about the logistics of such a thing, just putting it out there.

    need... stability... brain... hurting....

    HULK SMASH!!!

seriously, though, i know there are scheduling conflicts and other things outside of the Burn's control... but it drives me nuts that they can't get this stabilized...

We have a guy who does screening for shirts, but not sure if he does stickers. I'll see what I can find out.

Another option for those of you who want to actually enjoy the game as it happens is to listen to the webcast of the LA radio station who covers the Gals:

    http://www.1540theticket.com/main.html

This is what I will probably due.....I hope my sucky dial up connection keeps up with the fast paced soccer action!

I got an idea, instead of worrying about some dumb bar to be open "late" why don't one of ya'll hold it at your house. You'd have to send the Mrs. out for the night or something but it's an idea.

    Sounds like you just volunteered...
I'd host it in a heartbeat if I still lived in a house, but I'm in an apartment right now. I could only host 4-5 people.

If your missus (or mister) isn't a Burn fan then maybe it's time to kick them out.
