If there's any justice, it should be the bluebirds. We should have gone up last season, and should have won the league this, but I'm not confident. If we get to the final, the hometown factor could be an advantage, but just as likely it will put exra pressure on the players and they will bottle it.
I think Bristol will win it, we cant control their counter attacks. The was we play suits them to the ground, with us pushing people forward and trying to walk th eball int hey have 3/4 of the pitch to break into and our defence cant cope with people running at them. We deserve to not becasue we have played well but because we have been the most consistant team over the last 2 years, I think someone said no team has got mor epoints than us over the last 2 years. Also because the amounts of time we ahve been cheated by the FA to stop us going up to the 1st division, becasue they think we are the bad boys of British football. I expect us to be cheated in the play offs, as they aint tried this hard to stop us to give up now. Expect Bristol to get a penalty or 2. The atmosphere is going to be electric.
Spurs? By all accounts, Cardiff have been pretty garbage in the last few weeks and go in as the weakest side. I think it will be Brizzle and QPR in the final. But its all a lottery - so it could be anyone. I think that Rangers have the best overall team though.
In common with alot of fans of lower division clubs, I have a big team as well. Until sam took over there was little prospect that city could ever climb out of the bottom 2 leagues. I'm from Cardiff, born and raised there, but at Uni in Manchester. The only reason city aren't on my teams supported is I didn't have room and when I signed up didn't think anyone would have heard of them. Now Ive got all that off my chest, i think city have the best players of any club in the league, but have been atrocious recently and i just hope we can fluke our way through.
Its gonna be an interesting final - I can tell you that. I'm just praying that we get an early goal tomorrow and hold on to make it to Cardiff. I think you'd probably rather see Oldham than us. Oldham would not fill their allocation - leaving some spots for more cardiff in the ground. We'd bring 30,000+ without a problem. Either way - Oldham and Rangers are two of the best away teams in the league.
Sorry, I don't know. However, welcome to Big Soccer. Drop by the QPR board when you get a chance: https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=294
