1- do you agree with me or not....... that the ref was the biggest culprit. Also, maybe Holland should of finished better and take some lessons in defending a lead 2- You can react any way you want...........even the sore loser route if you want but you should blame the ref 1st then your team 2nd. I don't see how nedved and rosicky should be your prime targets.
I don't expect the Czechs to lie down for Germany. There's some bad blood there. As a neutral, I just have to say - what a PHENOMENAL game. I think a draw would have been fair, but I'm just happy I got to watch that. This almost made buying the Setanta package for $180 worth it alone. I really hope both teams go through.

yeah, great game as a side note, i watched the game with my dad, and he complained about the size of the pitch being too small i thought it was a standard sized field, am looking for dimensions
It's not a question of laying down or not...they have qualified 1st place in the group, there is no reason AT ALL for them to risk any yellows or injuries against the Germans. It sucks for Holland and Latvia - but if they wanted Czech Rep to play against he Germans, maybe they shouldn't have blown leads.
one of the best games i have seen in my life. cocu should have been taken off for van der vaart. heitinga had an amazing game, and totally did not earn his second card. van der meyde also had a fair game. i would have even thought about kluivert for van nilstelrooy advocaat should hang.
Great game. Shame for the Dutch that they lost, they looked great going forward with the two wingers and Seedorf in there. Robben had a very good match, Van der Meyde did well but not as sharp in his final ball, Seedorf is tremendous. Poor sending off decision helped cost them a point, but the subbing off of Robben of all people before then was a bad move, swung the initiative right back to the Czechs and let them push forward from midfield more, arguably leading to the situation which created the second yellow.
Taking out robben was the dumbest thing I've seen in a really long time. The best (along with Davids) for Holland before being taken off and he SHOULd have had 4 assists this game instead of 2. FIRE DICKY NOW! Koller was really great. Nedved is evil.

Fantastic match. the best so far without any doubt. The fair result should have been a draw but that's football. The two teams thought little about defending and this is also why it was so entertaining. But really Netherlands... are you masochist? Or is Advocaat a masochist? First it looked like Italy the minutes before Czech republic draw. Then when they were 10 men they asked for a lethal counterattack. Against the speedy czech... Anyway, the best 2 teams in euro so far. Netherlands is in real trouble, like Italy maybe even worse. The czechs are not going to spend too energies against germany. Sure Germany is crap nonetheless...
