Vaclav Havel says there was no evidence of a meeting between Iraqi intelligence and Mohammed Atta in their capital city, one of the key "links" the Bush administration has been trying to make between Hussein and terrorism, specifically al Qaeda. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/nyt/20021021/ts_nyt/prague_discounts_an_iraqi_meeting
US intelligence has known the Atta/Iraq connection was bunk for several months now. It's hardly a key element in the administration's case for an attack.
Re: Re: Czech president: No proof meeting took place So you're saying no one in officialdom will trot that out as a reason for going to war with Saddam anymore, and that members of the press will stop reporting this story as if it's the ironclad truth?
