I'd probably do Hlozek for Zmrhal, and maybe move Sadilek to LB and put on Sacek to join Kral and Barak (in for Soucek). Mateju for Coufal.
Looks like Hlozek and Vydra for Pesek and Zmrhal. Mateju for Havel... we are keeping Soucek and Coufal on despite their consecutive full 90 appearances.
Yeah, so Czech football might be popular with West Ham, but I don’t think Silhavy will be after today..
I still think we need to change up our formations. 3-4-3 or something with a 5 at the back on paper suits us best. Our fullbacks are alright, midfield is good, and Schick is a good striker. Our defense is really lacking and clearly needs help. We could even do something like Zima-Holes-Kalas where Holes and get forward on attacks.
Not subbing out Soucek and Coufal is surely going to make West Ham happy... But to be fair, we are not required to rest our best players even in a meaningless friendly.
Yeah, we did most clubs a favour if anything when allowing Zima and Brabec to leave for their transfers, so don’t mind prioritizing our interests for once it seems.
Kral has looked a bit better today, and Sadilek has been lively so midfield depth continues. Kasa is on, we're saved
Hlozek and Vydra have sort of been downgrades in terms of possession. I think having two wingers that focus on goal is too much. Kral is much more like his old self, and I think it's because he's playing in a more advanced position.
I’d of rather played Sadilek out wide with one of Hlozek or Vydra centrally to start the half anyways.
At least we know Schick shoots better from inside his own half than the rest do inside the opposition box.
Fun friendly honest, our bad finishing relative to build up play seems a bit less alarming when the final result doesn't matter. And bonus points, Estonia held Wales to a 0-0 draw in Cardiff
Vydra heard you talking crap. I actually quite like Vydra. I think he can play as a RW for us. He presses well and could be a good sub.
Wales drew 0-0 at home to Estonia.. Massive result for us. We should really be winning our remaining three qualifiers.
I'm sure Vydra has heard a lot of talking crap, our media and fans do it constantly, he even had the lowest match rating against Belgium in the Dnes poll just for missing the 1-v-1 (despite Kasa so very clearly being the worst). I usually give him credit for work rate, but if he's not hitting the goal it gets harder to defend after a while since he really is just a striker even when put on the wing which I would only do when we need a 2nd striker. Pesek was way better for overall possession. As for this match: MOTM: Toss up between Kral and Sadilek for me, kept the midfield moving throughout The good: Coufal, Soucek, Tecl (when not shooting) The mostly fine: Pesek (would have been good, but he didn't track back on the Ukraine goal), Barak, Holes, Mateju, Jemelka, Zmrhal, Stanek The fine, but did score a great goal: Vydra The bad: Kasa The awful: Havel The awful outside a few brief moments of brilliance in the last few minutes: Hlozek
