I have created a Champions League type cup competition for those in the CYKI (premierleague.com) fantasy league.

We have 24 members and I have created 4 groups of 6 teams. Everyone will play their group members twice.

Top two from each group will go into the quarter finals.

    See the format here:

    http://bengal.missouri.edu/~adamsm/lfc/bigsocc.htm

Let me know if you spot any errors. The cup begins this Saturday.

    Thanks.

Kind of quiet on these boards recently, so maybe some cup competition will bring it to life.

I will post scores after Monday's matches, assuming the premierleague site is updated :)

The Wind Out of My Sails

Nice to see I'm in the same league as the Aviators and they lost -- even though they scored more than us -- (sorry Hal).....

The gloating will be over soon as we're now up against top of the tree, Finchley Road FC.

We're trying to get our boys focussed on this one and forget that the match-up with Aviators is still a couple of weeks away.

It was a completely random draw, honest!

But if it encourages trash talk I am all for it!

    Correct sir

And all of the coaching staff and managerial minions of Chelsea in PA have been transfered to the champions league push from Clanblues 11.

The league position...of which i am now the sole owner of last position after a multitude of transfers....is of second thought....at least thats what i am telling myself anyways ;)

The world famed and all conquering juniors are headed for defeat?

I knew those transfers were worth it. ;)

    Re: Upon further review

Sinclair just needs to walk on the pitch, not get any cards and I get his double points as my skipper.

If I get another red card you might hear me yelling from KC.

I hope he plays 61 mins and gets subbed, I can see him getting a red in the 90th minute otherwise!!

Michel is locked in a 37-37 draw, haven't examined the line-ups for that one yet.

    Bollox.

Not only did he not get carded, but you picked up a clean sheet bonus as well..also doubled.

I think i will launch an official FA inquiry as to why this game should be counted :)

A hard fought result for the 1800-Worldcup.com team.... and much needed after the narrow defeat to Finchley Road.

The underachievers may well be replaced for our next match against the Aviators, where we expect a full house and hope to give the fans plenty to shout about.

    Results of inquiry
Having reviewed the above complaint we have decided the following....

A)Commendation should be given to the chap from Liverpool for the astuteness to have a player in the squad, wether transfered in specifically or not, that could earn "double points".
Also commendation recommended for the alertness to have him receive the Captains armband to double the double points.

B)When it comes to football scousers are always lucky :)
