Hardly surprising as he also doesn't seem to know what President means or what the Constitution teaches?
They are incapable of behaving like real human beings .... White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt has been accused of “insulting” Americans with her bold claim that gas prices have decreased under Donald Trump when they have actually done the opposite. Leavitt had the audacity to suggest in a press conference that fuel prices are actually down, and people are not happy at all. “Thank goodness we have a president in an administration that believes in American energy dominance in bringing down prices at the pump,” Leavitt said. “Look at how gas prices decreased over the past year since this president was in office.”
An AI video from the Iranian Embassy in Tajikistan. What a time to be alive. Seriously, who had this on their bingo card for 2026? 2044138040650805495 is not a valid tweet id
How about Pulp Fiction Pete??? He definitely used AI to draft his speech https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/m...paLgf25DYyw1GR7Aow_aem_TFqrkXBfnPbepLu7s_hMrg
They were already trying to designate the charity "Human Traffickers" because they would work to try and keep alive migrants crossing the back country east of San Diego. The Bishop of San Diego, who was outspoken in his support for migrants, was transferred to Washington D.C. and made it's Bishop at the start of the Trump administration so this war has been going for a while. Maybe I am just a cynic but sadly I think most 'merican Christians will back Trump in this.
Mahatma Gandhi — ‘I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.’
That's a great quote. Particularly so because down here the southern version tend to be so outspokenly sancimonious. (Personal experience)
If Christ came back in disguise, many of the folks you talk of would be the first in line to crucify him again should he engage in public speaking
On Wednesday, at the latest of his new series of worship services at the Pentagon to bless the Iran war effort, Hegseth stood at a podium and delivered a prayer for search-and-rescue crews he said was based on a Bible passage in the Old Testament book of Ezekiel. Yet, as so often happens in the upside-down world that is Donald Trump’s second term of office, all was not as it seemed. The prayer Hegseth used appeared instead to be a bastardized version of a speech by actor Samuel L Jackson in the movie Pulp Fiction.
Yep it's amazing. I posted about it above. I want to say I'm shocked - but this was the more likely event.
Hey, just to offset some of the crappy things going on in the world right now... My son is participating in a national (nominally world-wide) high school robotics competition. Basically every year in January a new set of rules and goals are posted for the robotics competition. The high school teams then devise strategies to build and develop multifunctional robots to achieve these goals. Each year has unique goals and typically require at least three distinct types of functions to be carried out. Competitive matches are organized where three teams form an alliance to cooperate to achieve these goals in competition with an opposing alliance. Meets are organized where ~40 high school teams compete in round-robin qualification matches and then progress into knockout tournaments. Each team participates in two of these competitions, followed by state-based competitions, and if the teams do well enough they progress to a world competition (kind of like an MLB World Championship where most teams are from the US... but still). This year's goals are to pick up and collect softball-sized balls (fuel), and then shoot these into scoring receptacles, but only when they are active (so there is some strategy to when to collect and store "fuel" and when to shoot and score it). Both my daughter (who is now over in Germany attending college in an engineering major), and my son have taken part in this competition. The robots these kids are able to design and operate in terms of complexity and functionality are quite frankly amazing... There are adult mentors that, especially in some teams take a more proactive approach, but I will promise you that in most teams, and particularly in ours, these mentorships are mostly hands-off. This year's iteration of my son's team's robot started out really competitive, but has been somewhat caught up by the developmental cycles of some of the other teams. In the past three years our high school has sent robots to the world competition and all had their individual strengths and weaknesses - this year I guess we will find out just how competitive their design and implementation ends up being. They are getting ready to compete in their divisional playoffs tomorrow, and as long as they win one of those matches will likely qualify for the World Championship competition in a couple of weeks. Regardless, the robot they assembled and are operating is really quite an amazing and elegant design. Here's a link to an example (of course a good one) of what their robot and their alliance members (and competitors) built and operated. Keep in mind, these are robots designed and built by high schoolers... Just to orient you: the first 20 sec are "autonomous". Meaning the robot is working based on preloaded software - the robot uses a combination of internal measurements "how many times have my wheels turned and in what direction" + visual control based on strategically located "APRIL-tags" and real-time pattern recognition to orient itself and perform actions without human intervention. The next two stages of play are called "tele-operative" and "endgame." Both are human controlled, where a team of human operators are guiding the robot and making tactical and strategic decisions about how to score best. The "endgame" section typically asks for a change in strategy that often is a bit different in it's scoring strategy from the first two stages of play. It's really an ingeniously devised competition that challenges high school students to embrace team-oriented design and actualization processes, and what they accomplish is pretty remarkable. If you are worried about AI, and the inability of our education system to prepare our future population for the next generation of challenges... I would encourage you to just watch what we are already doing to educate the next generation of STEM-interested students, and what they are accomplishing... Just to note my son's high school robot is 3656, and all of the shooting of balls is computer controlled (when to turn it on or off is controlled by the human but the aiming and control of the shooting mechanism is all driven by pre-programmed control).

Maybe it's just me - but I find it hard to figure that a guy who spread continual lies and misinformation, knowingly, without any care as to how stupid or otherwise uninformed people might be listening to it, night after night for a decade, would suddenly find himself like Spartacus in the psychological octagon with "his conscience". A better simile would be him trying to get comfortable on the seat of a bus by shifting his dozing head from one shoulder over to the other...... Anyone believing Tucker Carlson is almost as dumb as anyone believing Trump
