Yeah, sorry. I was still fuming a bit about the earlier two posts from the sockpuppet and was responding to the first part about the Republicans and didn't register where you were talking about the Democrats too. I agree that we sorely need some responsible leadership, and we're not getting much from either party at the moment.
to some extent - apparently so. Delusionally so. BUT You must see - You and me and Hubba, Fanatic, et al - had we gone on any of those Marches to demand that radical revolutionary idea that police stop killing people for no reason (*note to clown -being a drug addict isn't a reason) would have been demanding the burning down of cities by others whose actions we are not in any way responsible for - yes, you, me, and the many millions of these marchers, would all have been demanding the burning down and looting of cities..... except for the facts, of course... Black Lives Matter gatherings = less than 2% of people rioting and damaging property. January 6th protesters more than 75% of people rioting and entering upon property they have no right to be on/in.
For the record I repped this above - as I agree with it fully. However, the question stands - how does it reconcile as a practical view of history and the idea that people sometimes reap what they sow, and sowed such unnecessarily. It’s a natural response – what you are saying – but how do we measure where it is really applicable? Question: Do we think that that gay Venezuelan hairdresser who spent a month in that El Salvadorean hell-hole due to the outcome of the machinations (the absolute organized lying that lead to Jan 6th and the subsequent rehabilitation of a group of Fascists into a bought election) of Charlie Kirk should feel this way also? Basically - after the fact - I feel little except a sadness that people like Charlie Kirk and his stupidty and callousness are the pre-eminent root cause of this terrible environment - where constant lies spewed over and over at web-warp speed, at people without the wits, intelligence, logic or learning to see through them are causing totally unnecessary states of harassment, violence and even death to be visited upon people. But the thing about Charlie Kirk being murdered, and that that then should be causation enough to feel sorrow for those of his immediacy? Across the board? Ok – I can feel for his wife and kids in this case – and you can? But should everyone? Does this supposedly hold true then in all scenarios? Even where people's language, actions and express intent is causing others to suffer actual death or torture. A blanket of sorrow – despite what the people he has helped violently harm might want to feel? Maybe it does hold true but when condemning people it’s worth recognizing that there are some "separated' scenarios where people won’t bother to say it or say that others "should" say it. Would you/we ask the same of those in the circumstances surrounding the death of Reynhard Heydrich or if some saintly Cambodian or Ugandan had managed it on Pol-Pot or Idi Amin? Ok - Heydrich's death was in warfare, but the other two (had it been done) wouldn’t have been – and, frankly, would it have been, then would I not have laughed and danced over the act?? A harsh reality is that with commentary like this – “white college-indoctrinated women will ruin America if we let them.” --Charlie Kirk I (decorum of the moment and keeping the temperature down issues, aside – as Hubba is alluding to them) quite fail to grasp exactly what kind of spatial psychological difference there is in rules there might be for many women in America not to hate Charlie Kirk vehemently (alive or dead) or to a Ugandan despising Idi Amin. In the spectrum of vileness – who is doing the measuring of acute angles of distance?
If you could point those folks out in the crowd of red hats, it would help. Right now they are hurting cause someone they loved and represented their values is dead.. “he was like Martin Luther King” they say… I dont see the media playing any footage of him talking to folks. its as if the things he said arent good or positive.. why not play footage of when he said any of this?
In other Ironic News of the Day: Putin Blames Windows For People Leaping Out of Them. Gilles de Rais blames Children for having necks, anuses and other natural and created orifices. What a Vile Scumbag he truly is
From Mehdi Hasan From me, a list of Trump supporters who killed, or tried to kill, Democrats and opponents of Trump in recent years (since the right are now claiming all the political violence is from the left!)
There is a common nexus point in the above. If you start at say, at 9/11, 2001, to pick a date, and graph these incidents, there’s not an awful lot of activity prior to 2017. Odd, that. Not for the first, or indeed the one hundred and first time, for all the ordering he does, it’s always others who actually pay the bill, while his shirt is remains white, his tie always long and his hair unruffled. Again, odd, that.
Right-wing extremism has increased far more since 1990 than left-wing extremist violence per the National Institute of Justice. https://nij.ojp.gov/topics/articles/what-nij-research-tells-us-about-domestic-terrorism
Maybe more pertinently - they are just the ones we actually know about the plottings of ...... Does anyone really seriously think that if we were on the Astral Plane version of Las Vegas with Nostrdamus as the croupier and he said right - last bet - double on 5M - before you get to go back to real-world with your 10 Million winnings, place your bet on which 21st century political side has the largest number of crazed political activists that have planned to kidnap/kill, etc, etc.... does anyone seriously believe that every bet wouldn't be on the same answer........
Well, that should just about do it for the National Institute of Justice once the intellectually disabled leader reads it.
Now that we know that Kirk was killed by an alleged White Christian Nationalist who is even more extreme (ie he thinks Kirk wasn't extreme ENOUGH) - I presume: 1. FOX and the all the MAGA anger monkeys will issue huge retractions about the radical left? 2. They WAR they have ordained - will be perpetrated on MAGA instead 3. The Republicans will push for gun rights amendments? 4. Can we go back to Epstein and our Pedophile president? I'm not holding my breath.
Premature ejaculators. There’s even one on this thread. What’s the over/under on any of these premature ejaculators issuing any apology? Let’s set it at zero, because I’d be certain there will be more MAGA-idiots in coming days who will still blame the Left.
At least this will be helpful to that wonderful rationalist and military strategist General Jesse George Patton Waters to help him find out who he is at war with....
probably assumptions based on the fact that he and his family are repubs, gun-supporters, had him playing around with assault rifles as a kid, etc. - I'll amend that I don't "KNOW" that he's a white nationalist.
meanwhile - anyone remember the 60'-70's TV B actor Clu Gulager - and anyon know why he might have had a beef with Trumpy-Dumpty?
Yup, indeed..... (I've always wondered why that's guy's mother called him Clu???) ffs... what kind of name is that?
He reportedly has ties to the Groyper movement and followed Laura Loomer on Twitter. The stuff engraved into the bullet casings is from far-right memes allegedly.
