I believe if Atlanta loses to SD today, and also loses to Philly on Saturday, AND we beat Boston on Saturday, we'll be up a point over the Beat.
Yahoo says... Game over at 1-1. OK, so if ATL loses... People, math is so not my strong point, help me out. Earlier today I thought (and posted to that effefct) that SJ had to win out to get in, but now I'm not sure. ATL is up on us by 3 before the game. If they lose they are up by 2. If we win this weekend and they LOSE this weekend, we can still get in? Because then we'd be up by 1 point?
If both the CyberRays and Atlanta win, lose or tie Wednesday, Atlanta clinches. This wording is questionable. I was going by that when I posted my previous post about our season on the line but as I was restarting my comp, I put together the math that ya'll have done. So....are we still in it? Should it come to head to head competition with ATL, then we lose. I know that for sure, that's about it.

From the WUSA.com play-off article- Defending champion San Jose is on the brink of elimination, but the CyberRays still have an outside chance of qualifying. San Jose needs to produce at least a win and a tie in its final two matches to have a shot.
OK- The Beat kick-off before we do, and some people are saying(I believe this is true, first to clinch gets it) that because they play before us, should they win, they're in. THAT SUCKS.
The people who say that are high. It comes down to who clinches once point totals and tiebreakers are factored in, period.

On the WUSA site. I tried to search for them but the engine isn't working at this moment. I'll try again tomorrow. Something about teams beating other teams to the points first. But that makes no sense, there's no way that could happen because the final points are absolutely honored over everything else. Maybe I was high and dreamed this up.

No the only reason they're in if they win is because they won the tiebreak against us, not because they kick off first. They'd have the points advantage if they win or tie this weekend.
