sharpy/magic marker. used it on my v3 indoors on the entire boot and it has held up without any problems.

I'd be interested to see if anyone actually did that. Its easier with the .6s because the tongue is attatched at the bottom so you can get a neat cut but with the .7s you'd be cutting away more of the tongue ... you thinkin of doing it?

Quick and dirty blackout of my Rugbys. For now it's just permanent marker but I can tell it won't hold so it's really just to see how they look. I'll probably have to pick up something that's more durable for rubber and plastic. The stripes on the outside of the boot rubbed off with a little water.

Nice job! You intending on topping them up with something over the marker?

I'm probably going to pull the marker completely off and use something more durable. That was really just to see how they looked. There were small places I couldn't get to with a marker as well. I'll probably go down to the local hobby shop and talk to them about good paints for rubber and plastic, as well as pick up some little brushes and whatnot. I'm not sure if I'm going to black out the logos and everything as well yet, since it seems that'll be a real painstaking process.

Updates to follow some time soon. It's no fun being injured...

I think doing the stripes will be fine - looks simple but effective to me :)

Blackked out (kinda) SG total 90 III

I just wanted to change them. I think they turned out alright and i like em enough.
You guys have anymore suggestions for any further adjustments?
How do you think they look?

TBH they don't look too good to me, I wouldn't be pleased if I did that myself. The marker has gone outside the edges where you didn't intend it to be black, I would have blacked out all the white rather than leaving some, and it's been done with a marker so I wouldn't bet on it lasting too long.

Again as long as you're happy thats good, but it's not for me I'm afraid.

They don't look too bad, just could have been done a bit neater as bigg said.
Won't the marker come off though as you start to play?

I believe there are three members here who have had the balls to remove the tongues on the konstrukts:

RedDevil08, myself, and now you. This is becoming quite the popular procedure.

All of us have done this is the past couple weeks mind you.

I think the main difference between the white and the black Construkts other than the obvious color is on the white ones, the holes where the thread was removed are more visible. I'm trying to think of a way to make the holes stand out less.
