Nice interview with Jim Curtin. Sorry if this is a repeat thread. He comes across as educated and respectful. Nice how he pulls the party line, but does say has has been told he would be good in England cause of his size. http://www.ussocceruk.com/modules.p...e=article&sid=218&mode=thread&order=0&thold=0
Thanks for the link. Curtin is a class individual in every way. It's a big plus for Chicago and MLS to have people like Jim in the league. As for England, I could see it in a few years. He certainly needs to become more technically skilled. He may not have the speed for England though the size is definately there. He sees the field pretty well from a defensive perspective and is intelligent enough to continue growing as a player. I, for one, would love to see him in England a few years down the line if that's what he wants.
true, he needs a lot more techical skill. not to mention international experience, as he's never been capped. he has size and tenacity. and he's scored some vital goals a couple of times. i like him a lot and hope that he'll make it across the pond. and good thing he finally cut that nasty mop.
Same article here: http://www.90soccer.com/articles/?ID=4&ArticleID=220 Nice to see increased Fire coverage this year.
And *still* more props for Logan Pause. Is Jesse's starting spot finally in jeopardy once Armas is healthy? Later, COZ
This is a little off topic but has anyone heard anything about Boro Sucevic being offered a job with a national team? I thought i saw it on ussocceruk.com but i dont remember anymore.
