I was just paging through my DC United 2003 calendar to write down a December appointment, when I realized that the following ten players were featured with their own pages: February: Q1 - extensive time missed due to injuries March: Q2 April: Etch May: Rimando - season-ending ACL tear July: Moreno - traded to Scum (and injured early and often) August: Nelsen September: Olsen - season-ending MCL sprain October: Pope - traded to Scum November: Convey - sold to Spurs, permit denied, etc. December: Milton "Shaft" Reyes - season-ending ACL tear That's two players traded to Jersey, two torn ACLs, one sprained MCL, one of whatever it is that was wrong with Quaranta, and one botched overseas transfer. Maybe next year they should do what they did with the tickets this year and just print the logo on each page of the calendar.
What DC United Calendar? How do you get one? I'm a season ticket holder and all I got was a T-shirt (Not a bad shirt by the way).
Re: Re: Curse of the Calendar? It came as part of the ticket package, although I can't recall if I only got one for my two seats, or if I got two and gave one away as a gift. I also got two scarves, as well as the t-shirts. Are you a full-season plan holder? Did you renew early? Too bad you didn't get one, because it's been the only way to see some of these guys in a United kit this season!
