And 6th in the league in goals scored. I've got to give Kean and the ownership credit. During the fall and winter people were demanding they start parking the bus in search of a few extra points and for the team to bring in more middling veterans to help insure survival rather than continue the current youth movement.

The defense still needs a lot of work (Phil Jones would have made a huge difference), but the kids are coming through and the future looks brighter for it.

Future looks bright???!!! Christ on a bike.

We have an inept manager who is being propped up by his 3RD assistant manager this season, no money, owners who are taking money out of the club, who could go to jail, take advice from the worst agents around and don't even want to know, a £100m mortgage, a team that is picked by an accountant who is seeking to cut costs by dictating who can play according to their wages, Hoilett will leave on the cheap in the summer, our best defender going to some Russian club..............and we are still not clear of relegation.

And if we do go down, the youngsters will be sold off, and the training facilities sold off as collateral.

Well, let's make sure not to miss every opportunity to bitch and moan.

Listen, we all know Blackburn has its share of trouble, but it also has a fairly productive pipeline at the moment and the team does play with a bit of flair at times (which is critical to establish if the team ever wants to climb back up the table).

Much as it must gall some folks, some of the decisions (most notably the general youth movement and the decision to play a more open style) have paid off a bit in recent months.

Oh wow, the first clean sheets in a year, lets all put out the bunting and have a street party. I have read that our pass completion rate was 59% during the last game (i.e. really crap). and Robinson has probably been using his big punt up the pitch quite a lot. There is also the story that our more creative players such as Vuckevic and Rochina are having appearances rationed out due to large appearance fees. Whilst only a rumour, it is odd that those two have not played much, especially the former.

Our defence has also been very exciting this year, especially after we've sold three decent to great defenders (Nelsen, Samba and Jones), and have replaced them with a turnip from Birmingham and the son of Kean's agent who happens to be a big pal of one of the owners.

The recent run of form is papering over the cracks at best, and now all the retards in the press think Coco Kean should be manager of the year after being so harshly treated by horrible Rovers fans who should be happy with a relegation battle.

On the point about the youth teams, that is great. I really do hope it'll continue, and the Brockhall facilities and the academy can be kept in place when the next loan repayments are due and Venkys are either in prison or not answering any calls. The emergence of Henley, Lowe and the re-emergence of Hanley have been the one good spot this season. Since there are no experienced and able veterans to be squad players, we've needed them.

Whatever happens for the rest of this season, Blackburn Rovers Football Club needs to see the back of Kean and the Venky's circus as soon as possible. The longer they stay, the harder the inevitable fall will be, and the club will probably do a Leeds or Portsmouth.

Rumours that the staff are not being paid, or are being paid late. Perhaps Barclays are trying to turn the screws and pull more money out before we go down.

Venky's are the bigger problem. If we had been given any money from our owners, we might now have a better chance of staying up. As it stands, we're doomed, and were so from the moment the transfer window closed.
