Guys I'm not sure if I want to make the trek out to E. Rutherford for the match this week. I'm low on funds and as much as I want to go, I don't think I can...it upsets me way too much :(

Do I get some sorta parking discount as an ESC member? It seems pretty sick to pay over half as much as a ticket for parking

    Heres is the rule:

1 Go early. They dont charge before 5 (i think)

2 Go, but get $9 back by going to racetrack and redeem the vouncher you can get when you pay for parking

    3 Car pool

They usually start charging for parking about three hours before the match.

im not sure i follow...i called the meadowlands and they said they always charge for parking no matter what the time is...and what is this about the racetrack? do you mean win $9 and i'll be covered (no kidding) or i get a $9 voucher just for going to the track.

i wish i could carpool, but i dont know anyone else on staten island that likes Metro

3 hours before the match, there are no parking attendants. Trust me, thats what I am doing.

    Racetrack:

When you go, hide your metro hat, scarf, shirt, etc. And when you go thru the parking gates tell the attendant you are goin to the track, she will sourly give you a voucher.

Take voucher to redemption area inside track (up ramp), and get back $9 in cash.

    That is all.

so you don't get confused: you have to pay $1 to get in the track then you go up the ramp and get $10 for the voucher = $9
