So far I think only PB United, LSD Chicago, and Real New York are left from BigSoccer.

I've got Struggling Accountants FC, a solid team with an amazing defense. It's a winnable game, but I have to finish my chance and not get any unlucky goals against me. Finally a home Cup game though!!!

Kermmy, where you at?! SC Bearcat pulled off the biggest cupset (at least rank-wise) of the 6th round, and he now plays the #1 seed in round 7, ML's Stiinta United!

I've got a real tough opponent, FC Poseidon, who's a strong DIII team. I play one of the better teams in DIII, Syd's Army, this weekend on the road before the cup too. Least I'm at home, that should give me a chance.

I'm still kicking. RL has gotten in the way recently and hasn't allowed me enough time to visit the boards.

Funny thing is, this season is probably the least involved I have been with my team since it's inception, but I am enjoying the most success, Cup and League, so far.

My chances are not looking good to advance past Rd 7, but that doesn't mean I don't have some ideas about how to play against Stiinta. I will not be playing a PPP!!! :p

real new york meets the Fockers
    match#125480191

Fockers are top of II.1 and on track for a bid for the major league. they put up a formidable midfield on the road, outstanding's across the defense, brilliant central attack and one outstanding wing attack. unless all of their attacks go the inadequate wing i'm going to get beaten by double digits. oh well, it's pretty sweet being amongst the last 128 teams in the cup. i just hope the loss doesn't cost me 100's of supporters and disasterous confidence.

and i see in another thread that junjunforever, who sometimes posts here, is still in the cup.

Opp is counterattacking and he missed one already. Still no sellouts in the expanded stadium, but less then 1k short of doing so. 0-0 early..

    PB strikes again, up 2-0!

I nearly had a major blow to an IM, who picked up an injury but stayed on. Unfortunatly, they scored just a minute later, down 1-0.

Up 2-1 at halftime with a 56% possession advantage.

    These are both good things.

Down 1-0 and holding possession 55%, but still haven't created a chance. Dodged a free kick chance and counter chance already.

Poseidon gets another CA chance and misses, then 10 mins later I equalize through the ringer forward I bought today (to replace to two injured forwards on Sunday). 1-1

Tied 2-2 in the last round of PK's, my keeper scores and then saves their chance to seal the win! What a match...3-2 overall, i pulled a 315 against his 326.

For the first time, on to the 8th round!
