Well in my friendly this week, I'm playing a guy from my MFLS division who I got to sign up for hattrick. I'm winning 3-0 at the half over the poor guy, with 71% possession.
64% possession against Footballers in a Missouri derby. 0-0 at the half and only one reported chance, which my highest experience guy blew in an inexperience event.
The cinderella season continues. After never making the 3rd round, I have now gotten to the 4th round. That extra 144K is nice. Hopefully I can add some experience levels to my guys as well.
Oh my god. Streakers from division 3 either wanted to get out of the cup early or terribley terribley underestimated me. I won 3-0. He fielded a terrible side though. Oh well. 4th round for me it is.
Lost 2:0 in a friendly. Given I fielded a starting XI of nothing but benchwarmers and 3rd stringers who haven't seen playing time since the beginning of Season 23. Had I put more of my league starters in I probably would have opened a can of whoopass. Oh well. Time to go back to scouting this week's league opponent.
After the 1-9 win over a div-IX team and an 0-5 win over a div-VIII team, I beat a Div-VII team 1-5 yesterday. The next opponent plays in div-VI and shouldn't be much of a problem either, but I'm not entirely sure whether I'll play PiC yet.
Got walloped 8-0 (although I do feel good that my opponent apparently thought he had to use his $8,000,000 IM against me. Nice to get a PIC and an extra $141k, but it would have been nice to keep things semi-respectable. No experience pops either.
I defeated the mighty San Francisco Vikings 8-0. I guess after beating 3 bot teams by a combined score of 24-1, Hattrick finally decided to give me an honest to goodness human-owned opponent for next week. Trouble is I don't think my reserves can beat him, definately not PICing. Looks like I'll be studying up on what to do over the next few days. It's too early in the cup to miss out on training. check this out, rough loss in the cup 3rd round...match id: 29725233 down 4-2 in the 87th minute, I score twice to tie and meanwhile my most experienced player/captain gets 2 cautions and is sent off. Down a man, I hold him at 4-4 through OT. Then the pk shootout goes 8 rounds, 2 of my most experienced players choke (really needed my captain) and I fall 8-7 after being up 7-6 at one point. tough what to lose, damn!...
Gray Gunners advance to round 4, but it was tighter than I would have liked, as they won it 2-1 on a 95th minute goal. But I had to rest my top striker for the league game on sunday to ensure he doesn't pick up a 3rd yellow yesterday. My 4th round matchup is a fellow D4 team and I should have a decent chance of advancing, though lineup selection will be challenging this week between league and Cup.
I get thumped 0-8 at home... supporters are furious. Backup goalkeeper is bruised but training, one of my trainees is out with a 4 week injury. TS is up to composed though after dropping to irritated when I MOTS'd my league match on Sunday.
