I am unclear. What is "the referee's area"? Are we talking about a marked box on the sidelines, their dressing room after the game?

 

I bet he was peeved he didn't get the call after Kante fouled him in the box (or at least that's the way it looked to me). That's the only thing I could think of.

But you have to be smarted than arguing with the ref when after your team won the game.
